The Higher-Percent Solution
Here again is the encoded message for the Even Better Than Budweiser cipher: "Journal Entry. Thursday, May 13, 2004: At first, I had fifty. Then I got a letter of sorts from her. Next thing I knew I had none. Then I managed to get five. Breaking up may be necessary to get things in proper perspective."

About ten of you recognized that Roman numerals were a key--fifty=L and five=V. You took a letter of sorts to be "E" as in an e-mail, and, used the number 0 to represent none, and since it looks like an O, this left you with LEOV, which you unscrambled as "love."

Rob was first to do this, as did Robyn. The judges have awarded each 10 consolation DVPs. Congrats Rob and Robyn, you are that much closer to gassing up a brand new Dodge Viper (it does not come with gas in the tank). The points are consolation though because the answer is not "love." A nice sentiment, that love is even better than Budweiser, but likely to be disputed by many, especially those driven by it to the comfort of a six-pack of Budweiser.

The correct answer was "VO".

Here's why:

Fifty. Go Roman=L.

..."a letter of sorts": There are four letters to choose from, S, O, R, and T. Correct turns out to be=O

"The next thing I knew I had none.": When in ancient Rome, you have no numerical expression for zero. Writing a "0" would've gotten you crucified. This is, according, left blank in deciphering. An old trick our spooks used to throw off the bad guys' spooks. So, numerically, you've now got a total of nothing now and no figures to express it.

Then five. Correct=V

OV. Unscrambled, that's VO, as in Seagram's singular whiskey, which is definitely better than Budweiser.

Later,

R

Are you turning your blog into a recruitment vehicle for the CIA, possibly in exchange for identity shielding or witness protection-like services?

There is a town in southwest WA called Tenino, and of course many residents write it as 1090. A town of smart bastards...

Ok, I must be on dim wit pills today, you're explaination makes no sense to me. What the hell happened with the "L" when you got the letter of sOrts?

You're playing with us aren't you! Squeak! That is me being the wheel again. Pass the VO, please.

Good riddle, and hats off to whoever came close. But Seagrams wiskey? I'm sorry man, but that stuff is harsh enough to put hair on my grandmas chest, and nobody wants to see that. While I am not a fan of the Bud, Seagrams rates up there right between bleach and furniture polish.

To each their own poison, I guess.

Dude. I scramble my brain to work out that tortured riddle, am so proud of myself when I get lucky and hit on it, and yet like four people beat me to it? Where do all you smarties come from??

Sigh. I am so sad. All that heavy brain lifting and nary a Rancical acknowledgement. What does a girl have to do to get a viper point around here these days?

OH--MY--GOD! NO--WAY! I am just not a puzzle-brain. Did you get this out of a book, or did you Google it, Rance?

I'm not a big whiskey fan myself, so I wouldn't have gotten the final answer if my life depended on it. Mixed drinks with pineapple, amaretto and midori are more my speed. You get those little umbrellas with your drink, too.

I am wondering about the Nazi spy tactic. Can you talk a little bit more about that, or is that all there is to it?
Oh, I'll just look it up, myself.

You would have a pretty heavy debate on what is better than Budweiser. In this context, for me, love is always the choice. I think of songs like, "Love Changes Everything" from A.L. Webber's "Aspects Of Love", and I am reminded of which holds the stronger weight and most powerful influence for the positive. There is one other that has just as much strength, and comfort itself can take on many forms.

A little off-topic: Isn't everything that is preceding preparation for the following?

I didn't even make it to the Roman numerals, though, so you had me stumped again. Back to the drawing board.

I'm back in the comfort of my own cramped apartment. Finally. I think I may be blooming an ulcer from this trip...unfortunate. A spry gal of nearly 23 should only have to worry about ingrown toenails, sore nipples, and the occasional yeast infection.
So, now that I have decompressed, I'd like to share the wonders of Lake Conroe with y(ou)('all). Lake Conroe is a small town north of Houston that can best be described as "pith-forsaken smatter". Read that 5 times fast. Anyway...I will call this:

Lake Conroe: "If your skin is darker than this golf ball, go back to Austin!"

The house I stayed in was huge, yet the owners seemed embarrassed by its puny size. They assured me the living arrangement was only temporary.... they'd be getting their mansion any day now. The place had incredible furniture and terrible art. At first I was puzzled by the delicate photo-realist interpretation of a woodland beaver over my bed, but I remembered that I, too, have beaver paintings all over my apartment...of a slightly different variety. Let's see... what else..... The cashews. The cashews flow like honey over in L.C. Cashews and the So-Co, from about 2pm on. They really feed you like crazy there, actually. They have to because they shop at the Sam's. They have to because an elderly couple of 2 can't finish off a flat of 48 eggs before they go funky, or a crate of choc. covered almond clusters. They have to so they can make room in their fridge for all the diet dr. pepper you brought. You had to, because all they have to drink is So-Co, and you need to be able to paint a straight line this trip.
Some Helpful Do's and Don'ts....
DO:
Plan to stay an extra week so you can change everything about the mural they said they loved when you thought you were almost finished.
Look away when the lady of the house starts coughing up a wad of phlegm courtesy of her 3 pack-a-day hab.
Drink at least once, or they won't trust you.
DON'T:
Be sarcastic. They won't get it.
Mention that you like anything that anyone else has.
Pour too much bubble-bath into the jacuzzi tub.... (photo to follow)

Ok, the end,

Robyn

p.s. Rance- happy to be back to reading my favorite blog. I said I would make you a picture, and I will (whether you like it or not). For personal kicks, I will make it pertain to whatever the subject line is in your next post.
p.p.s. Seagrams singular whiskey. Sheesh.

Hola Rance,

I find this grossly unfair. I only visit your site sporadically so I should be given DVP's for having some semblance of a life that prohibits me from reading you daily. I should be rewarded for coming here immediately before going to read my horoscope. The fact that I read you at all should get me a free Viper ASAP.

I knew the answer, honest. Has a Canadian ever lead you astray? I assume the answer is no so on that basis, you'll have to believe me.

Rance,
I have this idea for a movie: it's about a retarded monkey that searches America for it's simian identity. Along the way, he meets some folks, has some laughs, and falls in love with an elderly black woman.
What do you think?
I'm thinking, me, you, a pot of coffee and we get down to work, right away.
This is sweet action and you'd be a fool to pass it up: monkeys are box office gold, Rance.

Just throwing that out there.

I mean CANNED tomatoes - all brands - Del Monte, Contadina, Pastene.
But then once you're worn out from DODGE-ing them, I'll share my whiskey with you, if you want -
Jack Daniels. I like the bottles.

BTW, Love IS the answer.

Can't stand whiskey, but if I'm dying for a drink I'll take a shot or two or three or five...Straight up. Then somewhere in there remember to call for a ride home...I'll too hammered to drive. So that's better than Budweiser? I'll take your word for since I don't drink the bud. I'll smoke the bud, but I won't drink it. *WEFG* Ummm, now where was I? Nice puzzle, I didn't even attempt it, I already have a full plate. Finals week is here! Yay!!NOT!! Yikes, more like it. Only three more days only three more days or is four? Hmmmmm, I better get my calendar straightened out so I can be in class when I'm supposed to be.

I'm not sure why my LOVE guess did not show up in the last set of comments (blog monster? I'm in the blog doghouse?), but mine was like the 8th or 9th guess anyway. The Roman numeral/zero bit did have me confused, but I was thinking an actual word was the solution.

For our Aussie friend: the link above suggets that the "VO" stands for "very own" because Seagram devised the particular whiskey blend for his family's personal consumption. I always thought it was part of the liquor age/quality rating system, like the VSOP you see on brandy and cognac bottles. See what you can learn from google (and blog reading)?

With no disrespect to Tony Randall, what do you think of the fact that CNN thought his death was of such significance to send out a "CNN Breaking News" email?

Little background if you don't subscribe, the email isn't a daily, but rather arrives when something significant happens (roughly every 2 weeks these days). It typically indicates to me I should look up from work and take a quick peek at the news.

Had today's been about the Indian PM-elect stepping down to halt the freefall of their economy, I would understand. But Tony Randall? Why have our seemingly legitimate news agencies even fallen to celebrity headlines taking precedence over real news?

Okay, Happy early Bunny Day!  You may have seen these before, but I just thought I'd roll 'em on over. The first link is to a 1946 cartoon called "Baseball Bugs".  I'll be honest, I only pay attention to this sport when the playoffs begin.  You don't have to be that much of a fan to like this cartoon, though.  The grandstand action is hilariously tedious, but it is 1946.  My favorite parts are the headstone and the outfielder crashing into the tobacco sign. Well, I gotta go make tamales now.  Have a good one!

A quick visit to say hi.  Hope these comments aren't bugging you.  Well, as if you're even reading this.  Another strange event (besides the giant pink bunny) is the incoming calls on my cell phone.  The ID says either unknown or private number.  Once the call came in the office where you are not supposed to have your phone on.  I have 'Start me up' as my ringtone, so it was extra loud and I had to disconnect.  I kept missing them because my phone was either on vibrate or the car radio was drowning out the ringtone.  This past Saturday, some guy left an incoherent vm on my cell that sounded like a cross between Spanglish and Korean, then he closed with a really fast okaybye.  Hahaha!  The ID said unknown number which usually meansit's from a payphone.  One of these days I'm gonna pick up at the right time and find out who that is...Here is another little goodie. Even though you may have also seen this before, it made me think of someone in particular.  This youtuber doesn't know how to spell simpson's:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=YKY4HFgy56Y

The thing I admire the most about you is your willingness to put yourself out there and make a difference.  Something as simple (or important) as a dinner invitation can open doors to so many possibilities.  Subtle positive influences can really bring conflicting sides together in these critical times we live in.  I'm so glad you are able to be this kind of influence.  I almost wish I could be there, as well.  Perhaps some day years down the line...I've been feeling some tension lately from different ends of the arena for some reason I can't quite put a finger on.

I think if you and I had met way back when, we would be at least really good friends.  Even the best of friends can have a falling out from time to time.  You know, forget how they started out before the years layered templates of testing and experience over the fresh canvas.  I would never want that to happen to you and me.  I would make sure you knew that I was always pulling for you.  Because even if there are certain key political points we don't agree on, I do believe in you and what you are trying to say.  Have you heard that song 'Dig' from Incubus' album Light Grenades?  I just burned a CD of their songs from some BearShare downloads.  That song in particular has a calming affect for me.  I feel it's about lasting devotion.  I'm sure you've heard it before, but here it is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=zpg8yXbMROc

Have a safe trip this weekend.  BTW, you didn't happen to notice the bunny and easter ads up there a week ago, huh? LOL

New format?  Beats the hell out of turning pages, doesn't it?  I just wanted to stop in and say hello.  Traffic sucked today, mainly because of all the protests.  I originally downloaded this on Bearshare so I have my own copy.  Hopefully, you haven't seen it yet.  Found this on youtube, also.  The year is 1971, I believe, and if I'm not mistaken, Elton John is making his TV debut before Daniel took off: http://youtube.com/watch?v=0-K5PLGV-nk  I always wondered what influence Marc Bolin would have had on that decade had he lived.  Hope your recent dinner thing went well in spite of the tired entertainment.

Just stopped in to say hello.  It dawned on me that tomorrow is three years since you posted this.  Hope all is well with you.  I realize this is your personal space so I don't want you to think I am intruding.  Going 3-D eventually will be difficult for me, but I'll always remember way back when and what brought me here to begin with.

Aw. what the hell. I wasn't going to post it but it's a cute, non-threatening sex joke.  I'll hold off on the really crude stuff for now because, quite frankly, you've probably heard it all:

A man meets a gorgeous woman in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end up leaving together.

They get back to her place, and as she shows him around her apartment, he notices that her bedroom is completely packed with teddy bears.

Hundreds of small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor, medium sized ones on a shelf a little higher and huge bears on the top shelf along the wall.

The man is kind of surprised that this woman would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but he decides not to mention this to her.

After a night of passion, as they are lying together in the after glow the man rolls over and asks, smiling, "Well, how was it?"

The woman says, "You can have any prize from the BOTTOM shelf."

(Ouch!  A whole night of passion and that's what he gets for his trouble.  This chick has issues!  Unless, perhaps, she did all the work...hahaha)  Have a good one!  :)

Do you ever have one of those days when the lightbulb turns on all by itself?  Like when you respond on a blog or a message board to someone, later realizing you may have been acquainted with them at one time or another.  You think you’re saying something to nobody in particular in a form of retort, but you find out later when they echo your words.  For instance, “Tell that to…” manages to make its way around like the Midnight Bark from Lady and the Tramp.  (Aw. Dood.)  You would like to take it back, but the only choice is to treat everything as anonymously as possible.  If I felt this person were saying to me, “Et tu, Brute?”  I would naturally respond, “Mais, non!  Pas du tout!”  No, I’m not fluent.  I suppose if I ever go nuts and move to Montreal or Paris, I’d have to cough up that high school French and re-learn it.  Peace.  Leetle joke for ya:

Q. Have you heard about the new super-sensitive condoms?
A. They hang around after the man leaves and talk to the woman.

Hello, I hope this “comment” finds you well.  Sometimes we run into a brick wall and think there is nothing that can chip it away.  I’ve been there many times.  With the internal and external limitations I was born with, sometimes it feels that way a lot.  The one thing we should never do is give up.  You will never see me oppose you knowingly, even though our perspective is very different.  Even when we disagree, you will never see or hear me say “You’re just wrong”, because it’s not entirely true.  How else would the pendulum fall in the middle?  Bottom line is, I like it when you shake things up and put people on the defensive, even if you find it tiring.  The goal is peace, right?

Captions can be fun to play with.  One little word can make all the difference when you’re getting to the heart of the matter.  I mean, really!  Considering who designed that thing, what else could have produced it but a few shots of that really potent stuff combined with an aphrodisiac?  I did hesitate at first, but then thought later, “Yeah, I am SO gonna GO there!  Maybe I just think too much. (hahaha!)

Here is another nice clip only it’s all Elton.  Such a brilliant and exquisite musician.  I can’t quite place the instrument Davey Johnstone is playing, I guess a ukulele? One of my favorite songs.  Even with our differences and the distance, it makes me think of you:

When in my early twenties, I kind of segued from the born-again movement to new age and occult.  Not quite so much the occult except maybe for the purpose of learning about the mind set that came with the spells and incantations.  Oddly enough, the Christian roots never left me.  I suppose that’s what it means to have a blueprint you cannot be removed from.  Whatever tolerance we develop of other backgrounds from our life’s experience, there are some things that cannot-and should not be changed, because it defines us as individuals.  One theme that remains in everyone’s experience, though, is that of rejuvenation.  A symbolic example would be the rising of the Phoenix from the ashes.  Maybe some day you can explain to me where your absolute hatred of one individual in particular is coming from.  This hatred seems to run deeper than what is presented on the surface.  Linkin Park has a really good song out right now called “What I’ve Done” that implies rejuvenation.  There are two images in their video I relate to personally, and one that is especially chilling.  Can you pick out what’s missing from the song and the video?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sgycukafqQ You know what else?  You have just about the cutest pair of eyes I’ve ever seen.  Even when they are narrowed ‘cause you’re pissed off.  They are SO fuckin’ CUTE!

Hello, how’ve you been?  I’ve seen some interesting things lately in blogworld.

Just a few things I thought I would mention…Did you know that Jon Stewart and Dennis Miller are good friends?  They probably hang out sometimes on weekends with their wives and children for bbq’s and stuff.  (You knew that, right?) They don’t always agree on things, but you can really tell they like each other.  Another thing I wanted to mention was a personal highlight that I encountered on WB early am on June 12.  I was ELATED when the commenter “h” replied to my inquiry on his media focus.  This was a key component:  “My only hope is we whack Iran sooner rather then later, hard and from afar. And get the State Dept on board to make it very clear to Nancy Pelosi's friends in Syria that they are next.”  The “non-existent”  WMD’s were moved and are now harbored in Syria.  I kind of wish the regulars had paid more attention to this, regardless of whether or not they felt he was authentic.

One other thing.  There seems to be a commenter in particular that doesn’t like Dennis.  I find him quite eloquent, actually, but I sure wouldn’t want to try to have a conversation with him any longer than I had to.  This same commenter felt the need to suggest that he, referring to himself, was “hot”.  Well, you can bet nobody in particular just might reply:  “Yeah, Babe.  You’re hot alright.  To me you always will be.”  You’ve heard of the band Muse before, right?  They have a lot of interesting political and esoteric meanings in their lyrics.  Black Holes and Revelations was released last year and has this song Starlight: http://youtube.com/watch?v=q-c94VVU7zc  can you tell what kind of ship they are standing on?

Hi!  How are you?  Pretty laid back day today, with “mild” activity.  Subtle changes happening at WB, I’ve noticed.  Here and there a shift in focus such as, (paraphrased) “stay out of the middle, even after the dust clears.”  Subtle works for me because it has a more lasting effect.

When I was leaving the second grade, we moved out of Redondo because my Dad got a job elsewhere and my parents bought a home.  I felt a little displaced and sad because just walking to the beach wouldn’t be a part of my life any more.  Also, the salt air would no longer be an immediate welcome on the more windy days.  I suppose I was ready for a change because of natural restlessness, and the timing was right.  Two months after we moved, the Watts riots broke out.  We were fifteen miles away, but it still wouldn’t have been the best vibe to be around…Speaking of vibes, what do you think of “Anger Management” Rob from L on WB?  He’s a trip, isn’t he?  I’m not sure exactly what happened to that guy, but he definitely has “issues” that hang on to him relentlessly.  Stuck in the middle of L as a Dem and hating Dems.  Weird.  I guess I should feel lucky that my displacement at least has an identity, an origin that doesn’t contradict itself.

(I wanted to send a side note also to nobody in particular that I have a copy each of the Pirate tale and the Whale vendetta tale.  The acknowledgements in the back cover of the latter are extra special.  It’s like having a yearbook with a signature.  To this person I wanted to say, “From T Plankhead to G.O., May your seas always be calm, and the destination free and clear.  At your service, Matey!”)

Also, the last name that I use (as if you know what that is ;)), is not my birth name.  My actual birth name sounds like a particular constellation only just two syllables with a different consonant.  It’s my understanding that it’s a few millenniums old and of perhaps Latin or Roman origin.  There is actually Pirate folklore also associated with the name, but with a lot of blurry history, different variations of the same tale.  Something about a kidnapping by a famous pirate and two small boys that were brothers.

Hello, again.  Hope everything is going well for you.  Of course it is.  Sometimes, though, a bit of the past is revealed or a news story can work against an overall message and cause problems.  These events, too, will pass. When I have a sh*tty day or things aren’t going quite right because of a minor roadblock, I just tell myself, “Aw twenty years from now, who’s gonna care?”  Moving forward, things look quite positive.

You’re an interesting mix to me.  I do respect your choices for well you-know-who on WB today, even though it has nothing to do with the final selection. (We do agree on M, respect-wise, but there are other things to consider.)  By mix, I mean I am surprised at how “old school” you actually are sometimes.  Like, where do the old school foundations and the freedom of expression (artistically) end and begin?  BTW, the reason I don’t get involved in the biblical discussions is because it’s the kind of argument that can go in circles based on interpretation.  I do find it odd that nobody mentions the last chapters of the Book of Daniel, but I’m not a bible thumper, so I’ll just leave it at that.  I suppose I’ll have to say something on WB sooner or later, not right now.  Yeah, it’s inevitable.

Another funny thing I noticed on WB.  A couple of names showed up at the same time, but there was no recognition on my part until later.  The “second letter of the alphabet” showed up on june 19 on WB with an hilariously brilliant spin of nonsense with no point whatsoever, so I responded in like manner with a surreal one-liner.  Later on, I thought, “Could that have been…nah, it couldn’t be!”  The same day, I think, the “seventh letter of the alphabet” dropped anchor with “Your site sucks” and something about enticing a lift with a “six-pack of Bud light”.  “Nah, I’m imagining things!”  Still laughing at the possibility.  LMFAO!  Anonymity is a beautiful thing.  I was telling someone else about a dirty (non-threatening. Ha!) French joke I heard awhile back. I have to see if I can find someone that remembers it all so I can pass it on.  When I have the whole thing together, I’ll drop it here for you.  Don’t want to spoil it with a preview.  Did you know that there is evidence that the Great Pyramid of Giza was an ancient power plant with advanced technology?  I’ve been reading about it.  The book is a bit detailed, so I’ll just take my time…oh yeah, I almost forgot:  Did I say Davey Johnstone was playing the ukulele in that Elton John video?  I meant mandolin!  God, I’m such a dork, sometimes! :D

Hello, how’ve you been?  Good, I hope.  I was impressed with a comment today (june 25) by “nobody in particular” this am on WB.  It’s always good to see a thoughtful viewpoint combined with honesty in an ocean of bias.  It’s important all by itself with or without anyone’s “approval” or recognition (namely, by a regular blogger/commenter that needs to get the last word in.  I don’t dislike her, she just gets on my nerves sometimes), and the circumstances are not your fault.  By that, I mean it’s not “your” media propaganda because this kind of brainwashing works on both sides.  I understand your frustration with the current administration, I really do.  Thank you for acknowledging the positive things.  I hope you know that I have a deep respect for viewpoint, and willingness to share it.  I also understand that liberals are innovators that we have a profound need for a long with us “old school” conservatives to create a balance.  It would be nice if more people would appreciate the differences rather than clash horns all the time.  That would be a big difference between you and I, my crazy dreams and wilder capacity remain on the inside to inspire me.

Saw a film this weekend with ”nobody in particular”.  Overall, this his best performance yet. Pretty intense!  I’m kind funny with thrillers. If the plot has enough intrigue, you won’t see me scream or flinch. Instead, I’ll lean forward laughing and say, “Oh, goodie!  What else is going to happen?  What’s next?  I hope whatever it is, it jumps out of the wall!”  This time around, however, I may have been too preoccupied by the appearance of the lead actor.  (You cute ‘lil puddin’ head, you!)  When the actor is good-looking, I’m too distracted to be scared.  Could be a detriment, huh?  (kidding)  There were plenty of people around me that were effectively scared or startled.

Still playing fill in the blank, piece-it-together with the dirty French joke.  I’ll have it soon.  There is an image I wanted to give you that I thought might be helpful.  Kind of an early, belated or right on time something-or-other.  This is an Egyptian talisman for overall protection, luck, and prosperity: http://www.miracleon6thstreet.com/egyptian_talisman.JPG  The scarab was one of the most powerful symbols used by the Egyptians, commoners and royalty alike, along with the Eye Of Horus above.

Snow Patrol has been around forever and I had no idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxXwIIBlSgw I guess this video is simplified symbolism of cleansing and rebirth.  Sometime I read too much into things.

Hi.  The people at WB make me laugh sometimes.  I really like most of the bloggers and commenters that show up there.  The silly ones right along with the more intellectual ones are quite endearing and after all, I relate to where they are coming from.  They’re a funny crowd because they remind me of a collective mind that works on a backup generator.  Maybe that’s not a good description, but it’s the best I can come up with right now.  An example would be the comments on 062907 re:  The Ruling.  A brand of mixed tea showed up (who could that have been? ;)) and got on a theme of free speech.   Well, my one and a half cents was right to the point and happily was ignored BY EVERYONE!  All I did was echo someone else’s sentiment about the kid’s upbringing.  Free speech is one thing, but if I were a parent of a 7th grader, would I allow him to wear a T-Shirt with images such as alcohol and lines of coke?  Thoughts are images, images can become reality.  Anyway, mixed tea shook things up alright, and scattered the ant hill for a moment, but they gathered again and settled into that lazy name calling with snide remarks.  Maybe tea pushed it a little too far, but it’s always a brilliant move to mirror the rants (hate) of other people.  I’m sure without saying so, more than one person had some food for thought.  My only question is the parent’s true motive for suing.  If he was not allowed to wear the shirt in the first place (eighteen is only a few years off), there never would have been a case.  Sometimes parents fail to see where the true responsibility lies.  Call me old-fashioned if you like, but this kid is only 13, for chrissakes!

I hesitate to present this quick self-portrait because “nobody in particular” may have already seen (?), got an idea, appearance-wise.  Not much to brag about.  Just under 5’5”, fair-skinned (burn like a lobster), slightly overweight (it’s hard when you like to eat as much as cook, this problem is being solved slowly for my own good.), ash brown hair with highlights, hazel-gray eyes.  The best description of eye color would be that of the one peering through the key-hole in that film with “nobody in particular”, but darker.  Enough of that.  Hope it’s not too much.

I wanted to mention one of the best scenes in the film I keep referring to was the one with the evil room and the child.  “Nobody in particular’s” willingness to let go, break down and let it all out.  I’m so glad to have seen that, because I may never have in any other circumstance.  I would say to him, “Thank you for showing that part of yourself, because for me, that stuff doesn’t come out except when I’m alone in the shower!”  As funny as that sounds, it’s really true.  I wanted to share this video by Vega 4.  You may have seen it already, but it was new to me.  Check out the skydiver with the boogey board and the guy under water in the rapids (when you have the time): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvJa_GIl38U

Whoa, I go out for a few hours and what happens?  Okay, not like you're gonna know why, but the war zone at WB is a little unnerving this evening.  I wanted to comment in a couple of places, but fear of stepping on a land mine deterred me.  I'm really hoping "someone" there would just kick back with a cold one and really relax, not just with a game of cards.  Talk of soulmates and stuff, and not in a good way.  Not that I don't believe in them, but  I wouldn't put any of the righties on that site in such a category.  And the really disruptive one has me wondering if I missed something.  I just want to say to him, "Hey, it's going to be okay, and at the risk of sounding really stupid, peace will win out! Don't expect intellect on a Saturday night.  I personally am only on my 2nd beer, and planning solely on entertainment!  Peace, already!"  Sorry, that was a stress vent...

Well, these past two days on WB have been interesting.  Hope your 4th was nice.  Mine was overall, very nice.  Menu included sweet n sour country ribs and broiled salmon with the usual "fun food". Not as elaborate as it sounds.

When I was growing up I experienced first hand from a family member various mood swings and the effect of substance abuse.   Visual and verbal threats were common place when the objective was control over the child.  The good news is that I took more after my Dad with not much of an affinity for alcohol or any drug stronger than a half gallon of ice cream in an hour.  Even then, I needed a nap afterwards.  (Exaggerating just a little bit.)  After awhile, you may scare easily, but there is really nothing you're afraid of any more.  My point is,  the attack that I experienced on WB was a shock but not surprising.  Not the worst I have seen.  The timing was interesting, because no sooner do I mention HERE that most of my comments are usually ignored, then all of the sudden they are noticed.  Even more interesting was the name-calling that was gender specific.  Only a couple of comments on a ‘chick thread’ at WB would indicate that I was a woman, being the fact that those three initials by themselves don’t specify.  (Friend of a friend?) came by blathering insults and saying that I had no respect for the rule of law.  As much as I hate to say this, that particular comment made me conclude that nothing that came out of its mouth had any validity.  My respect for this individual was almost completely obliterated because of how personal the insult.  (Like I had done HIM/IT/HER wrong?)  Did that broomstick “like me” for a minute on that July 2 thread (not)?  It doesn’t take a hell of a lot of imagination to figure out the psychology behind that body part.  Neverthelesss…

I get it.  You hate me because I am not a liberal (or libertarian, although I love ‘em too because their beliefs have overlapping similarities to a conservative such as myself.)  Sadly, I know I can’t do anything about this, but this is who I am for a reason, with or without your approval.  I know in my heart that justice has been served for now re: Libby because his saga is not over.  Too many hands that have been in the pot will resurface over a period of time.  Perhaps you can some day understand why I make my choices, but the reasons are quite simple:  As I have forgiven the past indiscretions of our administration, I will also forgive the current and future disasters that are inevitable.  I’m pretty weird, though, because I always end up with a positive outlook.  True, there are times when my middle name flips to outrage like the next person, but the pendulum always finds a way back to the middle.  And just as my alter-ego rrita said at the end of that rediculous 300+comment July 2 thread, “I can forgive someone who calls me a hater…”  She was the one who chose to stand up and fight back that day.  It’s really too bad that she had to.   (No secrets on this side, bud.)  So wuddaya say there , Cowboy (“nobody in particular”)?  Can you forgive ME for forgiving the empirical bonehead GeeDub?  (It doesn’t hurt to ask.)

So far, my favorite Fallout Boy song would be “This Ain’t a Scene” The video is okay, I guess.   You’ll appreciate the cute chicks in it.  I like the black and white ending on this the best.  Some artists have no idea just how incredibly brilliant they are when it comes to lyrics:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FcBnaLjxY4 (Maybe they do.)

Okay, no more assuming on my part that I know who's who on that damn blog.  I look at it this way:  Although Karma is a strong possibility when trying to work things out, without clear communication we're all pretty much SOL.  JT at WB is shifting a little with his viewpoints like a lot of people.  The knowledge of casualties of war will take its toll on any one.  He's a little obstinant, but I like him because he does have a sense of humor.  This is going to sound really silly, but I can almost feel his burdon.  Try to imagine being in the line of fire all the time with the silly DU attacks.  Please tell me I'm not imagining it when I see this same low-level attacks on the same bloggers.  Why do they all sound like a bunch of punk flunkies from a school nobody wanted to go to?  I mean, God, this is still the same country, right?  Or, maybe I have my head in the clouds and really believe people are supposed to be civil with each other.  I found myself reading over some of my rrita posts, and came accross a thump on someone that looked "familiar" after the fact.  Something about research.  If that was actually someone "familiar", I would probably say to him, "I am sorry and I hope you will forgive me."

Later on, she became useful in chasing a broomstick.  I really had to examine her comments and compare them to the b-stick.  My stuff  was pretty tame AND civil.  Verbal assault and insults are really supposed to get people to see the side of the liberal?

One other thing I had to mention for now while I'm thinking about it:  I really believe that WB has a kind of energy (yeah, you think I'm nuts) that is working like a catalyst toward greater things.  The bloggers there, (even the obnoxious ones) lay themselves right in the line of fire every day with the good, the bad, and the ugly, and are slowly moving mountains.  I'm not sure what you think about that, but it could be the very reason there is such a swarm of attack. They have something very special in that place that no one can touch.  I am determined to inject subtle comments that influence peace in that place and pray that God keeps a watchful eye on each and every one of them.  Even the "corner of the eye" is better than nothing.

Just like G.O. and the "nobody in particular" guy in the film I recently mentioned, I think to myself, "Don't let any

I would only ask that re: The SanFran july 7 thread on WB that the mixed tea read mac's reply @ 10:12pm  completely before reacting to kevin.  I would also ask that mixed tea find a way to come back and keep composure before reacting.  When the owner and moderators of WB see sexual attacks, as with any other traditional conservative, it stays with them and they are going to respond with that emotional imprint.  Re: S plover's comments, there are extremists on both sides.  Pls also read the sources that rrita comes up with.  I am in no way a progressive, but the request for a source for S Harris had a purpose.  This was an attempt to aid, but I guess was not clear on both sides. Although I am not in full agreement with the blogger, as I scrolled through her blog, I found other important questions.  But even polipundit doesn't have what WB has, which is "batsh** crazy" control and moderation.  If "nobody in particular" chooses not to return, I'll understand, but I do wish he would reconsider.  Does he really think WB is a bunch of rigid, stuffed shirts (including myself), or does he think maybe we're on to something?

It would be great if we were all just "there" already, and didn't need to learn or grow any more.   Karma itself goes way beyond ashes to ashes and moves constantly in a forward, spiral motion.  The real trick is to be able to look from one side of the galaxy to other and identify what is up and coming, recognizing a pattern.  This is of course also called prophesy and divination, but these terms are somewhat 2 dimensional without a visual to work from.  My thinking is somewhat spatial and instinctual, not always linear.  Eccentric, scatter-brained-whatever you want to call it- it still works for me, and I remain a conservative.

I remember "nobody in particular" saying something like, "that is where I part ways..."  A part of me wants to say, "Please don't go.", but we all have to think and feel of our own volition, and I will respect his decision.

Sooo…how ya been?  Hope all is well with you.  I was just passing through and thought I would drop off a little something that you’ve probably already seen.  Quick aside about JT:  It makes me wonder what possesses a man who’s not even 40, to refer to himself as a broken down wreck.  We all have something to deal with, so I suppose I really do understand.  On second thought, never mind because I get where he’s coming from.

Well, what do you give a “nobody in particular” who has everything?  Well, one thing would probably be an already seen Simpsons clip that really takes time to grow on you.  Once it does, you never go back to the “WTF were they on when they wrote this episode?” mentality again.  The premise is that Homer is at Springfield’s annual Chili cook-off, and he is sampling each of the entries.  Chief Wiggam comes up with a horrifying, borderline lethal concoction with a special ingredient called the Guatemalan Insanity Chili.  If you get a chance to see the whole episode you will notice the chili itself (not featured in the clip),  is patterned after an extremely venomous Guatemalan viper.  Well, Homer begins to experience the after effects when he coats his mouth with candle wax to withstand the heat.  This installment has been lovingly dubbed by cult enthusiasts as the “Peyote Chili” episode.  You will understand when you hear the voice of the coyote why it became an instant classic.  I just happened to think about “nobody in particular” when I saw this again recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHpiEInK20s

When I was about eight years old, I asked my mom what religion we were.  She just replied Christian and I, being a kid who had never gone to church before, just accepted her answer because it “sounded” right.  Years later, before I experienced the born-again movement, I actually went through an “atheist” phase.  All the way up to the age of fifteen and a half, I had made up my mind there was no God and no such thing as respect for anything that didn’t allow freedom of expression.  Even in class, my math teacher (who was a retired marine) was saddened and disconcerted by my refusal to say the Pledge of Allegiance and put my hand over my heart while facing the flag.

Skipping over the details to right now, where I am not a churchgoer, but yet believe in something greater than myself:  To me, not believing in God is the same as not accepting the idea that there is a force that expresses itself with a collective (human) intelligence.  I like to see the world and universe as a giant, living mosaic that is always moving forward with an absolute goal in mind, adding more pieces as it travels.  We are the image under the microscope that would otherwise go unnoticed were it not for the understanding of the one who works the lens.  If you choose to believe there is no God (if that really is how you feel), that is your prerogative, but I must ask you:  Can you forgive and accept others that do?  Are you willing to see them as just different, rather than “fools” blindly relying on something you believe to be intangible?  Others may rely on controlled substances to find comfort and purpose, but you will never find me (knowingly) judging them for it.

This song is an obvious favorite of mine because its part of what I truly believe exists on a different plane.  The video is a bit much, kind of an Andy Warhol meets Thomas Kinkade meets Yellow Submarine (towards the end.)  I just wanted to point out the bird in flight.  The contradiction would be this particular bird of prey's movement in a dark forest.  Its image is patterned after an hybrid falcon.  The Peregrine falcon is the fastest moving creature while in a hunting dive at over 200 mph.  There's a couple of them that hang around near where I live.  Sometimes their cries wake me up in the morning.  Although the song is an obvious anthem (Sometimes used by the Los Angeles Angels), the timing of expression makes a lot of sense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAKF3_hCSNs

Well, another interesting week at WB, with more drive-by attacks.  I thought it amusing that somebody finally figured out “nobody in partcular’s” initials in his moniker.  If I didn’t “know better”, I might think that little message was directed at someone in this comment section.  (ha!)  Perhaps trying to tell me something…?  Let me tell you why I haven’t just done exactly that:  One thing that I have never seen before just at the moment it happens is a shooting star.  Until now.  I mentioned the subtle changes before at WB assuming you knew what I was talking about, but for the hell of it I’ll just tell you.  The first change happened in Feb this year with the addition of WB Blue.  The second, which is a carry over from Blue is the design of the header.  What image and word are conspicuously missing from the design?  WB is still unique, but not “(fill in the blank) Unique” as it was before.  Sure, you have little “boom” dots, but the imagery is not quite as menacing as it used to be.  The irony here is the only real bombs being dropped at WB now are by the supposed “anti-war” crowd.  (KOS, DU)  I know that if the influence is subtle, the changes are more likely to happen.  No more suggestion of bombs (visually) at WB, other than the idiot radicals that come to trash up the thread.

Initially, there was a very specific reason I came back to this thread to begin with.  I heard about a disaster with fire, really wanted to do something to help out, but the trip up there would have been a waste of time.  The roads would be blocked, and there was nothing I could do, anyway.  In Dec 2005 I had had a similar experience on a much smaller scale, and ended up having to move.  That experience in the end was a Godsend, but that’s not important.  I just felt compelled to come back here and say to “nobody in particular” that I was glad he was alright.  It must have been a very stressful experience.  But my reason for hanging around was because I sensed that even though “nobody in particular” has done so many positive things to help better people’s lives, he may just want to witness a “shooting star” in the form of a very powerful little (third tier?) blog.  I don’t know any of these people personally, and have never e-mailed any of them because remaining anonymous is pertinent in getting a point across for me right now.  Only words and no other distractions.  But I do care about them because they lay their opinions and feelings on the line regardless of what anyone thinks of them.  I really feel for them when they are personally attacked by ballistic, immature activists.

A touchy subject at WB seems to be Israel’s part in this war.  They are important for reasons no one seems to understand at this point, but I feel it’s really unfair to just put a stamp on these people and say they all want this war.  Their country is desolate with turmoil right now and they are growing weary of being a prime focal point of hostility.  Enough of what I believe will happen for now, because that would take too much time.  To lighten things up a little bit, you really should check out www.indecision2008.com some time (if you haven’t already).  The banners toward the bottom, especially 'fundraising hell' and 'indecision poll' are hysterical.  And you may have seen this already in someone else’s blog comment section, but I thought I would drop it off here too: http://www.baseballlibrary.com/homepage/

What I'm really hoping is more than a handful of people noticed what was quoted in rrita's number 84 comment in the "poodle" thread at WB.  All I did was reinforce what you already stated.  Did I say subtle?  Funny how LAI missed the obvious.  You remember the band Tool and the song The Pot?  That's what kept running through my head while reading through the comments section.  This video is kinda pluto bound, but the song still rocks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2F_hGwD26g  You have a wonderful evening.  Pleasant dreams! :D

Hello, how are you?  I hope “somebody in particular” (not a nobody) is doing well.  Just curious about the moniker initials “FF” at WB, and if it’s some alter-ego venting machine, or if it’s even familiar. Well, I’ll just see what develops.  I mainly wanted to drop off a couple of things this time around that you may have seen before.  HST had an obvious cult following, but my knowledge of him was somewhat limited and indirect at first with the Doonesbury parody, then F & L.  This is from the WB archives.  JT wrote a small blurb about him shortly after he passed, more based on a personal encounter with someone HST had a blatant opinion of.  I hope you will find it as amusing and poignant as I did: http://wizbangblog.com/content/2005/02/28/my-hunter-s-tho.php

Also, “somebody in particular” has me curious over a comment he made to ccg about Judgment Day at WB.  Is that a reality to you, hon, and is how you view God?  Perhaps this is another place we are at odds:  I began loving God when I realized he was the only one who WASN’T judging me.  That was a turning point for me, even after the born-again phase.  I kept asking his forgiveness for wanting to explore other belief systems (philosophies, religions and occults mistakenly referred to as opiates by a blogger at WB), not realizing it was his voice telling me I should expand my knowledge of such things.  How else are we to understand unless we can look into the face of hell without fear?  Sin has a very precise definition that has nothing to do with Fire and Brimstone.  But never mind for now.  Here is another video I thought I’d share with you.  And yeah, you’ve probably seen it before, too.  This song is a favorite because I feel this way about anyone who lets me be myself.  You can probably tell I’m partial to videos with birds and the suggestion of flight in them.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cISUzaa5v8o

Hello, hope this comment finds you well.  I like seeing the subtle progress at WB.  An example would be the number 68 comment under the aug 8th post about “crawfishing”.  The ‘loss’, ‘lost’, ‘losing’, and ‘defeat’ mentality really has to go.  Nogo’s comments about man helping man above politics were a nice breath of fresh air, too.  Another hint towards peace.  BTW, was mrho a “friend” of yours?  If so, sorry.

One thing I noticed about “somebody in particular” is what a stick in the mud he can be sometimes.  I would have to say, “Jeez, I never thought I would see it, but you’re worse than me!”  Albeit, a funny and sweet stick in the mud.  Question:  What’s all this crap about “chest-beating” primates and “doing WHAT??” to the heavens?  If I didn’t know better, I’d almost say some of those words are coming back to haunt me.  They’re a dead giveaway to a select few.  But, no matter, whatever you think you need to work out.  We are magnets for what we want the most.

You might be sick of Simpsons references by now, but I just thought I would drop this by.  Homer tours with these musical acts trying to cheat death by taking cannonballs in the gut.  Here’s a caption spotlight on one of the bands with an ironic hint towards bleak messages and the reality behind the messengers.  Everyone who guests on this show displays a good sense of humor when poking fun at themselves: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Jt70yEId5a4

Another heated concern at WB appears to be what is the best type of heathcare management, and I thought this joke was kind of outrageous and cute at the same time.  Hopefully, you won’t be offended:

The queen of England was visiting one of Canada's top hospitals, and during her tour of the floors she passed a room where a male patient was masturbating.

"Oh my god!", said the Queen, "That's disgraceful, what is the meaning of this???"

The doctor leading the tour explains, "I'm sorry your ladyship, this man has a very serious condition where the testicles rapidly fill with semen. If he doesn't do that five times a day, they would explode and he would most likely die instantly."

"Oh, I am sorry" said the Queen.

On the next floor they passed a room where a young nurse was giving a patient a blow job.

"Oh my God", said the Queen, "What's happening in there?"

The Doctor replied, "Same problem, better health plan."

I won't assume the multi minus votes on WB have anything to do with "somebody in particular".   But I'll have to say it doesn't take a real stretch of the imagination to open more than one browser window to post two separate comments (supposedly from "different" people.)  That would certainly explain their appearance at the exact same time.  As I said before, however, whatever you need to get out of your system...

Another question:  What about all the drive-by negative votes?  Is that really all they got is a grunt?  Just, wow...y'know?  Is the goal still peace, or incognito 'boos' at what they don't like?

You still have the cutest little eyes I've ever seen.  :D

What I'm really hoping is "somebody in particular" had a chance to actually read the foxnews article she posted in comment 42 on the aug 16th post titled "join the war..." at WB.  There was another motive in posting it.  Especially the very last line of the colonel's commentary.  Whatever you think of me now, my goals remain the same, and that is to move toward peace.  I know that you try to do what you can to reason, but even if you don't think you get through, there are times when the plus votes outweigh on your comments next to someone who is attacking you.  I'll  bet you didn't notice that. And I'm a "blood-loving, armchair warrior?"  That doesn't read as an attack to you?  Oh, yeah.  I'm such a beast.  Rowr.

I hope this comment finds you well.  Another interesting few days at WB for me.  I managed to have a mini run-in with one of the commenters.  On the HQ post about PubWeekly, I made an attempt to show someone that these reviews might not be as one-sided as they were portrayed.  This commenter was just agreeing with me at first, I guess, and the whole thing backfired.  I’m sure you have found it by now because this same guy chose to drag my screen name into another thread to make an example (?) of me.  In an effort to extend the proverbial “olive branch” to him, I apologized for the misunderstanding.  I try to do it immediately as soon as I figure out what happened.  If I am wrong, I’ll say it the best way I know how, even if I don’t know them personally.  Well, I had seen this guy’s attitude toward some people, left and rightwing, and managed to jump to conclusions.  What really startled me was his reaction to my apology.  Whoa!  I kept thinking, “Is there something else I could have said?”  But the more I went over it in my mind it made the most sense to just have him drag it out somewhere else.  If they even bothered to look, I’m sure plenty of people came to their own conclusions.  The best case scenario would be that people will not just accept an opinion at face value without digging a little bit deeper.  As in, “Not everything is either left or right.”  As much as I find HQ entertaining, they do have a way of showing extreme  bias.  Time will tell how successful my attempt was.  Even as a conservative, I am still a centrist and must hear everything before deciding.

This incident brings me to another concern.  Sometimes it’s not until after the fact that I realize that I may have butted heads with someone more familiar.  The similar wording to “somebody in particular” may be mirrored under the guise of some other screen name.  I’ll be the first to admit my alter ego rrita gets more than a little belligerent when she sees a WB blogger get slandered in a much too personally abusive way.  Although I have never had an exchange with any of these bloggers or commenters except in the comments section itself, I feel a little protective because they are all trying to say something.  The passion toward the subject is why they blogged about it in the first place.  To inject some strange mythology to my reasoning, Medusa was condemned for her passion, and that is what I am trying to protect, having felt the same condemnation in my own life.  Looney, I know, but it’s what I feel compelled to do.  If I managed to hurt “somebody in particular” or perhaps “a friend of”, I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me.  (If you even care any more.)  Also, if rrita asks for sources, such as “anything from 2007?”, try to find it so the debate will remain as long as the questions.  Please understand that regardless the differences that cause clashes between us, such upheavals will never change the way I feel about you.  Eventually, I’m not sure when, this too will pass.  But these are the good old days right now, and hopefully you will look back on this some day and at least get a laugh.  Nobody I know is aware of this comments section I’m visiting for now, only the ones that “somebody in particular” has told are aware of it.  Scorpios are far more trustworthy than people give them credit for, but I'll give credit to my moon sign in Aquarius for applying the eccentricity in returning here for one particular task.  You’ve heard of Tony Jaa, right?  I just thought I would shoot this clip over.  I friend of mine kept ranting about what a kick ass martial artist he was and burned “The Protector” (2005) for me to watch.  He is pretty phenomenal.  Very quick and connected at the same time.  I am certainly no expert, but if you haven’t seen the film, you might agree.  He’s a little guy, about 5’6”, so there’s not a lot to haul around:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ceu8o0uSLeY

Re: LAI…I’ll bet you think I’m just as crazy, huh?  I will concede to being a little eccentric and strange.  It’s okay, but might I remind you that this is a “virtual” space where we say things out loud that we might not in any other circumstance.  Like in every day life and the way we present ourselves is not always what dwells on the inside.  I was checking out the weather where you are right now, and it’s really not too cold.  Do you get insomnia sometimes and think you’re gonna miss something?  The same would be true for me if I didn’t have to get up so damn early.  You’re still awake at an hour when I’m trying to fall back asleep.  That is, if it were the same time zone.  It’s starting to cool off where I am, and supposed to be more so next week.  Quite a few years ago, I was where you are for just a few days.  Not really long enough time to experience as much as I wanted, but I remember parts of the countryside being very beautiful.  Yes, you know which places I’m talking about.

What’s the dealio with you and ccg?  You keep saying he hides under the Bible?  Why?  I perceive a few things about him based on his comments.  He comes from a military family, wanted to join the navy but failed the physical, has a deep faith in God. The distinction between you and him is your career was mapped out for you with your family and contacts.  His was not so fortunate because of a disability.  It was not his destiny to follow in anyone’s footsteps because and continue a family tradition.  His disappointment must have been immense, and maybe there’s a void inside.  Please try not to hold this against him.  While it’s true he comes off a little snooty sometimes, he really can be good-hearted and helpful sometimes.  I don’t expect you guys just to be buddy-buddy with that information, but I just thought I would mention it because you really cut loose on him.  I never thought I would see a worse temper than mine, but yours is ferocious.  That confuses me a little bit because it’s scary and sexy at the same time.  I realize all I can do is tell you so right now, but whatever…Everyone needs to vent sometimes and I understand this, but you really worried me for a minute there.  Did something happen to piss you off and you found someone to take it out on?  You guys use the phrase, “There you go again,” and he does it to try to keep control of the conversation.  We each have a wall that protects our vulnerabilities, and the material we choose is sometimes hard to identify.  Some people are just stuck, too.  Remember how you grew up and the conversations around the dinner table?  That was your influence early on.  In my house, the last thing we discussed was politics, and even then the communication was lacking.  That’s probably what led to my neutrality today.  Sometime soon I’ll tell you about how I once walked right through a fence without hurting myself.  It was such a long time ago, and I still haven’t figured out how I did it.  I don’t know if it’s important any more, so it’s not a priority.  BTW, you know the only way I can come back here is because you leave the door open.  If you ever felt the need to close the door, I admit I’d be sad, but would understand.  As a friend, I’ll never abandon you.

Well, that Maliki post was interesting.  Equating it with a premature ejac…?  You guys are funny that way, as if it’s so important.  A quick surmise on the thread would suggest otherwise, however, as it kept going and going and going...You know as well as I that if the gun is parked in the right target and stays put, it doesn’t matter when the bullets hit.

The same accusations seem to keep flying too,  that we are only “Armchair warriors” and have no clue about death and destruction.  Believe me, if I had passed the physical, I would probably be a retired military like so many others that performed a tour of duty.  The reason I see it objectively is because, unlike ccg, there was no need for me to follow a tradition.  My family did not share the same background as he.  I can accept that it wasn’t my destiny to fight at that time or be involved in any form of combat.  There is always a possibility I could end up there for any number of reasons, this has definitely crossed my mind.  I suppose my life could put me in a situation where I am just minutes from ear-shattering combat. But does it really matter?  Would that make me a better person in your eyes, and should I really care that you think that about me?  Moving forward, sometimes I just want to say, “The hell with this, because I already know what’s going to happen!”  But my need is to reason and communicate, albeit in a subtle fashion.

Oh, yeah.  Long story short about the “fence” thing:  I was about four years old and was out in the front yard bouncing a ball.  My sister and a couple of other kids were playing near me.  Well, the ball bounced over a cross-wired fence dividing the property to the neighbor’s house.  I started walking toward the ball, knowing full well that I would have to walk around to retrieve it.  Approaching the fence, however, the image became concave almost the way a sheet of paper would look if it were folded at an angle.  The closer I came, the more bent the image became until the next thing I knew, I was standing next to the ball.  I picked it up and turned around thinking maybe I could get back the same way.  Unfortunately, the image remained intact and I had to walk around the fence.  I don’t expect you to believe me, but I’m sure stranger things have happened to people.  That was a little like the Philadelphia experiment without the time travel and injuries it produced.  It pisses me off that no one else was paying attention at the time.  But does it really matter if I figure out how I did it, or will this information come along in its own time?  Only to be labeled, “Just another event in the life of   “

Hello, hope this comment finds you well.  To be honest, I don’t mind that WB is not “popular”, and here is why:  “Old school”, (or “fossil”, as some polite guy put it), represents foundation and structure.  Those elements can be reaaalllly boring, can’t they?  Stability is also boring.  You think progress would involve shattering structure, but in truth, foundation and structure are needed to build lasting ideals.  To abhor these simple truths is just ignorance.  I will be the first one to acknowledge the extreme right opinions, but it is a conservative board.  And some of the lefties that show up, although there are some smart ones there, make a few of us look like Einsteins, and we don’t even have to reply.  I also like the small capsule of people that come to comment when they have the time.  There are actually a handful of them I wouldn’t mind serving drinks to around my dinner table just to talk about things not political.  The familiarity and occasional wit that make WB an interesting place.  I know it’s strange to feel that way about people I don’t know personally.  And, well, there are some very nice people at WB that get leftist insults all the time.  Why?  Because at WB it’s the extreme opinion of that which is political that drives people.

I would have voted for Carter, but election day was 8 days before my birthday, and I figured he would win anyway.  Back then I was a democrat because my parents were.  My beliefs have evolved a great deal since then, but I notice biases and prejudices have remained the same and managed to spill into political views.  If only people could realize how much all we need each other.  A few people get it.

In the eighties, I was still evolving from point A to point B with my religious beliefs and whether or not it was important to be part of an institution of faith.  If I am not mistaken, the dark side and Goth along with Big Hair were making their splash.  Around this time, I was ready to just say f**k it and learn witchcraft.  Images in videos like this one were a big influence on me for a while, because I was again at a point where I was ready to denounce the existence of God.  Almost, but not quite.  Remember Sisters of Mercy?   http://youtube.com/watch?v=JyKCLnHK0mM

HaHa!  "Somebody in particular", I knew you thought the new girl at WB was cute! :)  You're way too obvious sometimes.  Can't blame ya, there.  If I were a red hot babe with a body like a rocket, I'd probably be modeling too.  It's not like I'm a real eyesore, I still get looks from time to time (and well hit on, too), but I sure as hell am not her caliber and very real about what stage of life I'm in.  Consider this: You have a lot of really beautiful women around you sometimes.  It's not like you can get any woman you want, but you can get any woman that wants you, right?  That's still saying a lot.  I was surprised at her value system, myself, because it seemed so cut and dry.  Maybe it's because I'm a centrist, I don't know.

Another thing to consider: Maybe you want a woman that looks like that, but well just agrees with you.  Hopefully, the woman you have in mind will be able to maintain her uniqueness as well as share your ideals.  If I am way off base, and perhaps being intrusive, I apologize.  Ir's just that your contradictions give you away sometimes.  Quick note about WB:  In the comments section of HQuarterly, you might notice my comment about buddy of "Chip" didn't specify Left or Right when it comes to rallies.  I'm sure there are plenty of people on BOTH sides that go to events just to be there without knowing why they showed up.

I noticed some of the nay-saying lefties that come there keep on coming back to diss WB.  I think they are also looking for answers.  I will be one of many to offer them answers when I see the need.  Yes, you and I still agree on deflating the image of war, we just have a different approach.  I know you don't believe me, but I am here to shatter walls of intimitation and move mountains.  My methods are subtle and systematic.  Maybe some day you will believe me.  Hoping this comment finds you well and safe

I just wanted to drop in and say "hello".  Your number 57 comment on the "Blaming the Victim" post was hilarious.  Yeah, we all know where that word originated on WB. ;)  I gotta say this, though.  Onanism is by far the least sensual sex word I've ever read.  Makes me feel like I should be looking for it under a microscope.  And if I managed to locate it, would it try to escape?  Sorry, it's been a long day...

Come on, admit it, Sheik Yur Booty is one of the coolest screen names you've ever seen.  And if you didn't hate some of those people so much, you'd love 'em.  Try not to let the obnoxious ones get to you.  One other thing I wanted to mention: There is an hour long show running on The National Geographic Channel called The Road to War: Iraq.  You might find it interesting to watch when you "get back".   Maybe someone can TiVo it for you and burn it to dvd.  The whole thing is interesting because they talk about GeeDub's first target being Afghanistan, he didn't even want to talk about Iraq.  Then things began to happen when a CIA director steps in.  I found a segment for you, but you really must see the whole thing:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=rGJqU0YYCJU  I guess I'll hit the sack pretty soon, I've been staying up too late.  Hope all is well.

"Somebody in particular".  For this comment, I'm going to take the liberty to call you as "Sweetheart".  So, Sweetheart, don't worry about Chubsy-Ubsy's number 39 comment  in the "What year was like 911" post on WB.  What you said to him was right on.  There are times when he should just STFU.  You only got three minus voites (I gave you a plus) probably because a handful of other people would have applauded you.  What held them back were some of your ballistic previous comments from before.  No big deal, WB is a problem solving blog. Hell, I get blasted by the left sometimes, but if I believe what I am saying is true, I could care less.

I thought this Illuminate/NWO music video was quite interesting.  The suggestion is all these symbols represent corruption, but I have a different theory.  The Kennedy segment in the beginning is the most shocking because of graphic content.  Based on the angles where he was shot, this is what I suspected happened to him all along.  I'm sure you have heard of this stuff before, I just thought the way the video was compiled was interesting.  Try not to take it to heart, we all know there is an exciting truth behind these conspiracy theories. http://youtube.com/watch?v=nRlDlAkonJU  Hope you have a relaxing weekend. :)

Wow.  So much for a relaxing weekend.  Again, your temper is something else.  I try to comment without interfering, sometimes it’s the timing.  But man, you and ccg…I guess you’ve got something to work out there.  I just observe now and try to avoid saying anything.  Now, I know how rrita has appeared a couple of times on WB, but I’m trying to tone it down a bit.  I am learning, gradually, how to be objective before I comment anywhere so my expression is not clouded by rage.    The stuff I say on WB, however it appears publicly, is only in the comment section, and anonymously.  No one at WB knows me personally at this time.  I’m not sure if they ever will, because being too personal with these people may cause problems.  As much as I like some of them, they have to remain strangers for me to continue what I set out to do.

Now, I’m not exactly sure what set you off tonight, but I suppose it was a combination of things.  One thing might have been the disappointment caused by a “stoppage” of sorts.  I see a lot of projects coming up for “somebody in particular”, so being on the outside, I guess my view is objective.  Everything preceding is preparation for the following.  If that’s not it, hopefully it wasn’t that video link I dropped here in my previous comment about the illuminati.  You know that stuff has been going on for a long time and only controls the ignorant.  I was going to give you some more links to the New World Order stuff, but I think I’ll hold off for now.  I think instead I’ll just indulge myself with a little fantasy.  This is a virtual space, so it’s safe to pretend that I’m a really gorgeous woman and I’m parked in your lap with my arms wrapped around you.  (The height difference explains the sitting down.)  I’m holding you close with my lips pressed up against your neck.  Better yet, we’re lying down, and you’re nodding off because it’s been a really long day…I realize that all of this fantasizing only makes sense in this space, but it works for me.  Hoping that the rest of your weekend is a little bit more enjoyable.

Hello, hope you have been doing okay.  It’s been hotter than hell over here.  Rolling blackouts over the weekend.  Not too much going on WB, just a few new faces for debate.  Actually, a refreshing change, because a couple of them want to discuss rather than just insult.  A quick note about k’s number 14 comment under the donkey’s elephant post:  She obviously knows who “somebody in particular” is, otherwise she wouldn’t be hinting so much with the “mutual” onanism comment.  She even referred to you and used your initials in one comment at WB way back when.  My heart almost leapt in my throat because I thought she was going to take it further with revealing identities.  I know it’s not my business if she ever gets what she wants, so I’m gonna steer clear of that.  I’ll be honest, though, it makes me cringe so much to see her hitting on you in a political comment thread.  I’m sure others are at times really confused by her attempts to get your attention, because they don’t know who you are.  The first thing that pops in my head is, “Jesus, where’s that ten foot pole when you need it?”  All this doesn'y change the way I feel about you, but do you see now why I have to be neutral and objective?  To be fair, maybe if it was ten years ago, I might be acting the same way.  Regardless, that’s one aspect of your personality I’ll never understand is your need to go “from one to the next”, but then your life choices are not my concern, and I hope I didn’t sound too intrusive.  I’ll just sit back and watch without interfering, and look for opportunities to swing in those subtle pendulum comments.

It’s still a lot of fun to read and comment on WB.  And hopefully, as I said before, you can look back on me coming here with a sense of humor.  And always, I will never abandon you as a friend, you can believe that I am right here.  I remember you mentioned before you were “from Iowa”.  Field of Dreams, huh?  Must have been subconscious. :)  When the opportunity arises, I hope to introduce the idea of how all those conspiracy theories should be put into perspective, and where the problem solving begins.  I’m studying up on it now, per se.  The misconception that many of us have is the idea that there’s no such thing as second chances, and what’s done is done.  I used to feel that way, too, until one of those ‘lightning bolts’ of inspiration hit me and the sources followed up with the answers.  You know the song Time Won’t Let Me Go by The Bravery?  I love videos with black and white in them because of their clarity.  The card theme in this is pretty cool, too.  What I like most about this song is the anthem, military timing in the beat.  The poignant, yesterday sound in the music and lyrics is how I used to feel about life and moving forward.  All that has changed now, because all those chances are unlimited if we leave ourselves open to them.  http://youtube.com/watch?v=H5ZxQ8tnAG8

LOL!!  Number 33 comment on the Al Anbar post!  OMG!  Maybe it's me whose the stick in the mud!  That was hilarious!  I just had to give it a plus vote.  I'm sorry if I sounded like such a drag in my previous comment.  (I don't THINK I did) You made my day.  Yeah, I'll lighten up.  Whatever happens, happens. :)

My number 116 comment on the Donkeys' Elephant post was the most fair and reasonable assessment I could come up with while trying not to interfere with the other discussion.  Your mouth is actually very sexy, and only "little" when you're pissed.  I'll bet you never noticed that.  *tippie-toe*, *side-step*, (((hug)))

This has been an interesting few days, don't ya think?  It's hard to fathom all the off the wall scandals cropping up.  Almost reads like a tabloid, and I only read those when I'm stuck in the grocery line longer than 10 minutes.  The most interesting part of these scandals is the event following: F Thompson's formal announcement in a CASUAL setting.  Now, I wouldn't ordinarily pay attention to such a sequence of events in any other circumstance, but no one else seems to notice (or admit to noticing) the timing.  First, the exposure of Fallguy Fundraiser.  Then a sudden disappearance with nothing but paper trails in his residence and business.  Poof!  Could Thompson be a distraction?  I know it sounds silly, but I want to look past the two parties for clues on whose going to wind up on the ticket and whose elected.  I don't dislike Fred, but I wonder what made him decide to come forward now, at this time.  I wonder if that "something bigger" is using people's prejudices to hide the agenda.  I sound a little wacky, don't I?  I can't help it, though.  I'm gonna dig around and see if I can make sense of my instincts.  That's why rrita mentioned Fred's campaign strategy.  What are "they" up to?

Did you bring someone else on with you to comment, or did you create another alter-ego?  The patterns of expression are unmistakable.  I may have to eventually change screen names at WB, not right away.  I'll let you know.  Hope all is well with you.  So as not to get too "Drama Prairie Dog" over the whole scandal thing, I thought I would shoot this funny clip over with U2 in it.  Yup, it's a Simpson's episode!  Homer is trying to make an environmental statement during their show, and gets what's coming to him.  http://youtube.com/watch?v=1Ea1asgr_e4  And you remember the Drama Prairie Dog, don't you? http://youtube.com/watch?v=jHjFxJVeCQs  Cute lil feller...Have a wonderful evening, Sweetie! :D

Okay, why doesn't anyone at WB say the tape is fake and OBL is dead?   Fine, DEM talking points and all that.  This is not just the doing of GeeDub.  Something is seriously weird about the release of this tape via abc.  Okay, I just needed to vent that.  Sorry. Whew! So, are you the really long screen name, or the name with the initial? Or both.  The exchange with Chubsy Ubsy on the petraeus thread was pretty intense.  How could he say those things about TJ?  Well, whatever.  Hope this comment finds you well.

Okay, here’s the deal.  Re: Comment number two posted by “somebody in particular” in the “Never underestimate” thread at WB.  I have always been aware of “other people” near “somebody”, but if this is the actual name or not, makes no difference.  Now you can see why I’m trying to be here but stay out of the way at the same time.  There are no delusions here.  I think the primary reason I never formally got married, myself, was because I didn’t understand it on a personal level.  I always figured the circumstances would just put me there, if that makes any sense.  People’s background and upbringing (traumatic or otherwise), teaches them things about relationships and what to expect.  There are still a few things I’m trying to work out internally as well as externally before I’m settled enough.

Now,  back to my concern about that damn OBL tape.  There was always a lot of speculation as to OBL’s whereabouts and whether or not he is, in fact, demised.  Here is a website with info from Israeli intelligence as well as an Egyptian newspaper article about his funeral:  http://www.welfarestate.com/binladen/funeral/  I hope you get a chance to look through all the links. One link shows ‘page not found’, but the others seem to be still intact.  A couple from CNN, no less.  The url references are all valid, original stories.  There are photos of him looking sickly and earlier photos of him in better days.  Which is to be believed, though?  Would foreign newspapers lie about his funeral?  And what’s with this recent tape, which is obviously cue-carded with American corporate bullsh** as well as all of our own newspaper talking points.  Example: “neo-con” and “Democrats should have stopped the war” are American political phrases and arguments.

This current Bin Laden also says that their own interests “overlap” with Corporate America’s (??) or something like that…Jesus, am I stupider than the Corporate controlled media?  Not this time.  Not ever, I think.  Remember what Bin Laden’s original mission was?  Not to much different from Iran’s.  How quickly some forget, though.    But when I saw the look on GeeDub’s face (even Cheney’s) in that Road to War special I told you about, that’s when I was reminded again to forgive.  This whole thing was a lot bigger than both of them.  I honestly saw pain and fear in his eyes that I hadn’t seen on any other President before him.  I know about his excesses, and I think all this crap over his head is one of the main reasons.  Yeah, he screwed up, but every day I try to forgive because he’s the one that has to live with it.  That’s when we also have to be objective in order to find a solution to a current dilemma.  Or, at least step outside enough to look to the galaxies for the answers.  This is one of many things that will be a life project for me.  With all of my imperfections and shortcomings, I still believe I will be able to accomplish it.

One side note for now, I feel that “somebody in particular” will be recognized next year just as he always should have been.  Not sure if it will be that Brass Ring yet (I hope so!), but everything preceding is preparation for the following.  Is there really this "bitterness" that I read about, or is that another contradiction on his part?  Also, I notice another project is in production.  I hope that one works out better for him.  Hope all is well. :)

I kept thinking to myself maybe I was making too much of the Osama denial thing.  Maybe lightening up a little would be the best choice and not worry about it.  But then, why not give the idea more of a nudge than just saying “this is funny stuff” on the actual video post.  I like to be subtle, so on k’s Sept 6th OBL “upcoming video” post, I commented that OBL might be dead and his funeral was reported in an Egyptian newspaper.  No one responded or voted, but I think I managed to touch a nerve.  If the comment just stays there as is and is barely noticed, no big deal.  But when you comment on a blog, the poster usually gets an e-mail to check comments, so I’m sure she read it.  Ever so slightly, a dent has been made, because I noticed she was unusually aggressive in the comments sections under some of today’s posts.  She was using words like “bitter” (coincidence?)  Damn, some people really are stuck!  I really believe he is truly out of the picture now and that’s the very reason the media keeps coming up with new videos.  It’s so surreal!

I wanted to mention also to G.O., that his comments got a plus from me, especially the “strawman” reference.  JT can be a hardass most of the time, but he is affected by the things people say.  He’s been disillusioned like a lot of people about the political scheme of things, and I think that’s why he’s a moderate. Funny, how ordinary people can collide head on when it comes to agreeing on the government.  Even when persons of an opposing side suggest agreement, the bias is unavoidable.  If they mention the OBL tape again, I may just have to post the fox news and translated Egyptian newspaper article reference links with a comment.  OBL could very well be the Loch Ness Monster card in the Corporate War Game.  You know, like, “Pay no attention to that ghost behind the curtain!”  I have to restate that there is no dislike on my part toward these people at WB, that’s why I try to approach with caution and compassion.  For the most part, I think I have a handle on the anger thing.  I’m still hoping you have forgiven me if you and I had a run-in unknowingly.  G.O. too, sometimes it’s hard to tell unless the screen name is familiar.  I don’t think you guys realize how much of a difference you have made by commenting from time to time.  There are little things that you have said that helped me out, too, even though it may have been the last thing on your mind.

“Somebody in particular”, everything I said to you, how I feel about and what will never change is all true.  I would never lie to you.  I’m just being as reasonable as possible at this time because I know eventually I’ll have to fight my way out of my own “box” of isolation.  If you were to see me though, you wouldn’t notice anything different.  Certainly my own self-described limitations would not be evident on the outside.  For some reason, wherever I go, my efforts are recognized or acknowledged as having some authority.  Why, I don’t know, as I’m just another woman walking the earth.  This has been a given for me as far back as I can remember, so I’ve stopped trying to understand it.  But subtle is a forte for me, so I was perfectly happy to let you do most of the talking at WB.  I want my influence to stick in a different way, with light brush strokes.  Even when I eventually leave this space, you know you can count on me and find me when it’s absolutely necessary.  How you managed to do that to begin with almost gave me the willies at first, but I was okay with it, because it might mean something more later on.  Sometimes you just have to have faith in the unknown and what the future holds.  Isn’t it  a great thing, stepping through the looking glass with only faith as your compass?  I’m gradually learning this myself.  The second verse of this song is my favorite.  (You like appreciate the cute chicks in this video, too!) http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ea_iZ3NfwSU  Hoping this comment finds you well.  :)

Okay, I found an opening and took it.  Sept 10th post "Another Video".  I simply asked the question: If he's been reported dead, what is being perpetuated?  I'll be the first to admit that sometimes I'm a little bit scatterbrained.  Comes with being in a dream state half my life.  But why doesn't any one mention that the Wizard took a one-way trip to Kansas and ain't comin' back.  Am I really naive here and missing a given.  I'll admit I'm pretty confused right now, so I just left it as a question with links so as not to agitate too much.  I'm almost afraid I'm asking an obvious question.  Hope all is well. :)

Hello, how are ya?  I was pleasantly surprised to see you again at WB.  There was one familiar screen name under the “Suck it, Jesus” post that I thought maybe was you, but couldn’t be sure.  I thought you were fed up with WB.  It’s not always the most exciting place on earth, but for me it’s still a keystone for problem-solving.  Funny, that the year 1967 was mentioned.  “Somebody in particular” probably had much tinier, cuter eyes back than, and not at all yet aware of the harshness of some parts of the world around him.  Those cute little beady eyes.  I’ll bet when you weren’t getting into trouble, that sweet face of yours let you get away with a lot of crap.

Ya got a thing for k, huh? Otherwise you wouldn’t keep bantering with her.  In a way I can understand because she does have her moments.  Maybe you’re thinking that if you could get her to bend and agree with you, she would be closer to your type?  I’m gonna let you figure that one out.  You missed marc too, huh?  People you like to go at it with.  That’s a harsh reality, isn’t it?   People that are different are the most intriguing.  The more we get them to conform to our viewpoint, the less interesting they become.  They’ve been tamed and all that zest for life has been squelched as a result of conforming to another’s whim.  I went through some rough times as a teenager because I had to nullify my own existence to accommodate the façade of others.  When you’re isolated under your own roof, there’s no other place to turn.  Without going into details, that was the most pivotal time in my life.  I had made up my mind never to walk in the shadows behind anyone again unless it was my own choice.

I’ve been trying to get into this book about Cosmology.  I say trying because ADD has been a problem for me as far back as I can remember.  I never thought I would figure out the true identity of the Beast by reading a book other than the Bible, but the discovery itself is still in progress.  I won’t jump the gun on this one, but when that “rush” feeling overwhelms me, I know I’m on to something.  I noticed a lot of Simpson’s fans at WB, too.  (Yeah, I know you’re tired of hearing about them.)  The Lionel Hutz reference took me back a ways.  I really miss Phil Hartman.  He was also Troy McClure.  Phil’s voice combined with the deadpan cartoon image was so laughingly endearing.  Wow, my eyes just welled up with tears for a moment.  How embarrassing!  Phil Hartman’s Troy McClure: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CRd2Rg46Btk It starts a little slow, but have some patience.  The Planet of the Apes parody shows off Phil’s incredible singing voice.  He was just so talented.  Hope you are well.  (Big Hug)   Also, I'm glad you are able to ignore the more obnoxious ones at WB.

Hi, how’ve you been?  Your comments #3 and #16 under the GeeDub Job approval post at WB were a bit comical.  I got a flashback of the movie Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy.  When DOES the rest of the universe get a vacation?  And your ad for a typist was funny, too.  Now if it had read something like, “Air-headed daydreamer with a scatter-gun keyboarding style, 70 percent accuracy wanted.  Inability to meet important deadlines is imperative.  Inquire “within”.  The voices will guide you,” you would have almost had yourself a deal.  I think I’ll drop some html lessons for you here, though.  You might benefit with the info.  If you use it, fine.  If not, cool just the same.  And if you’re using a blackberry, forget it.  I’m not a computer wiz at all, some stuff I figure out by accident or from curiosity.  And I usually get help.  The italics and bold coding, along with target links are pretty easy.  If you have internet explorer, you will see the little code buttons at the bottom of the comment box.  I’ll explain later.

Don’t let the extremists get to you.  I’m sure you’ve read plenty of lefty crap that set your teeth on edge.  People get really weird sometimes when discussing politics.  It’s hard for me to remain neutral at times.  My comments are usually thought out and researched before I put them there because I want them to stick.  It’s not like I come up with stuff off the top of my head, but my instincts will take me to the right places to get information.  My own questions usually get answered.  Like the real reason Reid doesn’t like Olson. A quick aside about the election process.  You probably knew that the Hinckleys and the Bush’s go way back, right?  Then, you probably also knew that Reagan was NOT a member of the trilateral commission, right?  Then we both know that if the assassination attempt on Reagan was successful, a certain person would have been in the driver’s seat.  I just go numb about it so I don’t have to feel anything.  Did they threaten him beforehand?  You will probably wonder if I have flipped, but Reagan will always hold a special place in my heart because he was willing to stand up to the trilateral.  Then for some reason out of the blue, he selected GeeDubSr as a running mate.  And all of this fundraising scandal around HC…I’m going to see if I can figure out who is really behind it.  You know, just for curiosity’s sake.  To defeat her, or keep her out of harms way?   It’s not the end of the world if I never figure that mess out.  Hope all is well with you.  Here’s a cool video with Nickelback.  It’s really good anthem for positive change.  The lyrics are a bit over the rainbow, but a real celebration of life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-QfLJbEN3k

What a relief!  I was actually able to add something catastrophic and blend in at the same time at WB.  Under the Greenspan post today, there was a tentative discussion on the reason for the war.  Well, it’s too easy to just say what it’s about where people close their minds immediately without any thought beyond that.  I posted an essay/commentary that explained pretty well the economic reasoning in detail.  Simple truths are devastating, so I just kinda snuck it in there as a point to ponder.  Here is the link if you feel like taking a look:  http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html  I hope people at WB will take the time to read the 2004 commentary.  Here is a bone-chilling quote from the same section:

"Why of course the people don't want war. . . . That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, a parliament or a communist dictatorship . . . the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. . . . All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.

--Hermann Goering, Nazi Reichsmarshal and Luftwaffe chief
at Nuremberg trials, 1945

Man, what the Nazis knew back then, and how they used it makes my heart ache.  Time to go numb again.  “Forgive them, they know not what they do.”  I always have to remind myself.  It’s hard.

The good news is, though, it’s not all about Armageddon.  So if you ever have a list in your head about things you wanted to accomplish, people that stood out to you and wanted to meet, take heart.  The things you want most to happen are still on the horizon.  This whole cycle is leading us all through some rough waters ahead, but the outcome is still a great one.  Beside reading inspirational material, I skim through Simpon’s clips (if I need to laugh) and upbeat music video clips.  I forgot which movie this song was used in the closing credits.  I had a crush on the lead singer for about 5 seconds.  Now, I just think it’s a really great song.  “Collective Soul”. What a brilliant name for a band!  http://youtube.com/watch?v=TBKn9jV71QU  Hope all is well with you.  (Hug) :)

Hey, there.  How are you?  Just thought I would stop by for a minute.  The tide appears to be turning a little bit at WB, even though you may not see it.  The upcoming elections are going to be accompanied by some pretty heated discussions, so I will keep reading and commenting there.  Still many problems to solve, and I still see that blog as a catalyst for change, “Explosively Unique!” :)   There is only one other place that I have been a part of where it was actually the person himself that was the catalyst.  (Maybe I need to get out more, huh?  HA!)  I still feel grateful to have been around that man (an acting teacher you probably never heard of), and then at WB to witness it and be a part of it.  Sobering realities are difficult for people and it takes a while for it to sink in.  Ever so slightly, readers are beginning to get it.  Where we go from there is the next step.

Oh yeah, I know you don’t really care about this, but here is some html coding:

Brackets:  start with <i> and end with </i> and you will italicize what you are saying. Bold is the same only with a b.  at WB the embedding is already there, so you can also use <b> and </b> to bold a word or sentence.  Like, if the coding buttons weren’t below the comment box, an example of a coded italicized sentence would look like this:  <i>I ran out of propane and had to buy some more.</i> Same with bold type.  Don’t forget the slash in the second bracket.  That’s a good place to start, huh? I wish I could just show you on the keyboard, but this is where we are, and so it is.

I wanted to lighten things up a little bit, so I have a couple of links for you when you get a chance.  They are both actually very funny.  You remember the website JibJab?  I picked out a couple of really funny videos for you.  I know how you feel about GeeDub, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t zoom over to watch this “familiar” scene: http://www.jibjab.com/view/131939   I find this Clinton one rather endearing in spite of my other opinions of him. The origami, laundry room, and mirror with the award segments are hysterical. You may have seen this before, too: http://www.jibjab.com/view/70810  Hope this comment finds you well. :)

Funny, how presumptuous people are at times.  J.T. at WB received another personal attack under his Sept 18th Biggest “Well, Duh” entry.  I am speaking of comment 19.  He tried to denounce his opinion on a blog because J.T.  is still a renter and “not a professional”.  Now, I don't always agree with J.T., but to me personal attacks are pointless.  I am willing to bet that this nay-sayer hasn’t even a college education.  If he is wealthy, it’s because of the luck in his circumstances.  Does he not realize he has nothing that hasn’t been given to him?  Why do I say that?  Because one of the two is a much more talented writer and it ain’t the commenter.  Maybe you can take the time to read it and you’ll see what I mean.  I think I remember mentioning this blog is also for problem-solving.

Exit rrita and the other “three initials”.  Enter LaMedusa.  She’ll take her time before saying too much, but the name will let her say pretty much whatever she wants.  And yeah, she is also not going to care what someone else thinks of her social or monetary status is.  She shatters walls and men made of stone.  (ha!) How many stupid f**king people do you see rolling in dough with a spotlight because they were born into it?  They are regarded as “The movers and shakers” not because of their brains, but because of their PR machine.  Fortunately, there are some real brains in that category able to come up with the goods, and not because someone else makes them look that way.  Hope all is well with you.

Hello.  I took a short political personality quiz today.  Much to my surprise, I scored as a Libertarian/Centrist.  I had to look it up to make sure the definition matched because of my views on certain things.  Well, I guess it makes sense because I still have my own traditional values, but have a much higher tolerance for diverse lifestyles than, say, twenty years ago.  Still doesn’t make me a liberal for very specific reasons.  Here is the definition they gave:

Libertarian

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one
that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

Yup, that makes the most sense to me on a personal level.  I can live with it.

I trust you have had a chance to look at the attack on J.T. mentioned yesterday.  Are you “familiar” with this person?  What made him go after J.T. like that?  He knew enough about him including his age and chose to find all kinds of things wrong with him.  He’s just a man, but one thing that is very clear about J.T., is his gift for writing.  And sure, it’s just a weblog, but that space is also the voice of the public.  And being in the top 1000 isn’t really all that bad.  I did sense some jealousy in this nay-sayer, suggesting his lack of income and no prospects.  That was kind of a cheap shot.  Hell, a lot of people rent because they’re either too restless or the housing prices are just too ridiculous to tolerate.  Some day, a woman will be very lucky to have him, because of his energy and talent.  I’m not wealthy, but even 42k is well enough to survive on, even in “rip-off” SoCal.  It’s not how much you make, its how you manage it.

Have you given up on WB?  I hope not, but I respect your choice if you have.  I’m gonna comb through the latest entries.  It will be fun to see if I can figure out who will influence the 2008 elections the most.  I have to sneak in a suggestion on why attacking Iran isn’t the best choice right now.  I want to say “please come back again, it’s not the same without you”…Well, you know…

Number 39 comment at WB under the Last call, who will have the biggest impact post.  Good. I plussed that one.  My only question right now is what will move that economy?  Sure China's a big deal, but who's card game is it right now and why did France sell a nuclear reactor to Libya?  Hope this comment finds you well. (hug)  Please tell G.O. his comments are greatly appreciated, too, and make a definate impact.  He does make people think.

K’s “clever” comment, (wow, she speaks French, too? Sheesh!)  under the Sept 22 “US France, agree” post may be indirectly referenced to the second sentence in this news article.  BTW, her comment, directly translated means:  “Doctors without fear, finally.”  What a strange trade for weapons, don’t you think?  Why were they held captive to begin with?  Sounds very fishy to me, and I’m watching Sarkozy very carefully.  As much as I love the French culture, their past political history has been horrifying.  This sudden turn of events seems odd to me.  Yeah, I'll just sit tight for now and watch.  Hope this comment finds you well. :)

Hey “somebody in particular”, what do you care what p (or the other  obnoxious ones) says?  He’s just being obstinate and trying to push your buttons.  He’s that way with a lot of people, not just you.  You and I both know the “Taser this” ad is more than just about free speech.  It’s a chance to diss GeeDub, and a misconception by a bunch of students as to what really happened with the tasing thing.  That’s no big deal because so many people feel the same way about GeeDub anyway.  How’ve you been?  Okay, I hope.  Staying in tonight to watch “Psycho” on AMC.  They're having a special 7 days of Alfred Hitchcock this week.  Didn’t feel like going out because it’s been raining off and on.  Don’t mind me while I pretend to park in your lap again to plant a big wet one right in that cute little pie hole of yours.  Have a wonderful evening!  :)

Okay, okay.  I'm not even going to wonder how pissed off you might be at me right now for my previous comment, but can't we call it a draw?  You're right and they're right on the taser this thread, with an "interesting choice" of words in demonstrating free speech.  Please, pretty please.  Calm down.  It's going to be alright.

K looks like she is tryig to declare "the war is over" in an effort to be the first one to say it.  I realize she is being sarcastic.  But when GeeDub finally declares it, she'll probably suggest that she had been "saying" it for months.  I think I may have rather biased feelings toward her now.  To see my own words come back to slap me in the face in her comment number 65, shows an utter lack of respect for the idea of forgiveness and total blindness to what is controlling the war machine.  I thought her more intelligent than that.

If I can be melodramatic for a moment, it's more like a slap in the heart.  I ain't the most clever or well-spoken woman in the world, but she is making me look incredibly brilliant right now, by default.  Even upon realizing that I am actually a Libertarian, my conservative leanings are still in place.  She is not really an example of classic conservatism, which is both distressing and embarrassing to me.  Still, I must choose to forgive, as painful as it is.  I refuse to give up.  My little rock hammer is going to shatter those walls.  Hoping this comment finds you well.

“Somebody in particular”, at first I was going to commend you on your restraint in the comments under the F-Bomb GeeDub post, but I think I’ll do something a little different.  For your number 42 comment under the BDS-The Obsession post at WB, I think I’ll slip into fantasy mode for a few seconds and pretend I’m jumping your ass.  Fantasy is a beautiful thing!  :)  In my head, this song is playing full blast.  The video is in kind of crappy quality, but it’s an excellent vintage clip.  I always thought Paul Rodgers had such a sexy voice, too: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xSoEP1NVmPM  I understand your turmoil, and I wish there was a way I could make you feel better and calm you down.  Limitations are what they are.  If you could see what I see, that would be a big help.  But I also know that we all see things in our own way, and only when we are ready.  Hope this comment finds you well. :)

Correction in my previous reference about your comment 42.  I realize now you were speaking of the mideast, but I also sense this kind of thing may keep you up sometimes and that's why I referred to it as your turmoil.  I also know that this is not something that keeps you awake all the time, which is a good thing.

Soooo…seatbelts, huh?  You thought it would be really cool to jump people over The Seatbelt.  I sure as hell won’t say anything about the selectiveness with which “somebody in particular’s” applies his law-biding.  Whatever allows for that “cool lifestyle” is “legal”, right?  On a lighter note, it was a little comical how “somebody” was playing Daddy with some of the commenters.  For me, especially (even thought you weren’t addressing me).  Not just because of how chronologically impossible it would be, but I almost felt like I should actually be standing in a corner.  Until I came to my senses and realized who was saying it and for the reasons mentioned above.  No seatbelt, no cookies with TV?  Very cute.

Did you find another pseudonym to try out some of the coding I put here?  If so, you did a good job for your first try.  Bravo!  You just left out one letter in the italicized word, but it was a good effort.  If you didn’t have a chance to read through the Sept 26 “Silence in Syria, Panic in Iran” thread, you missed some really interesting stuff.  It’s not very often you get a chance to read former military men discuss how inside strategies are carried out.  Also, little insight on one possible reason DinnerJacket was invited to speak at Columbia U.  I love this stuff, like putting puzzle pieces together.

When I was a kid, I used to just close the door to my room and play the same records over and over to escape like a lot of teenagers that didn’t feel exactly at home.  Sometimes I would just listen to the radio out in the backyard.  I remember when I was really little, the radio had to have voices, it couldn’t just be instrumental.  The radio was my connection to the outside world and the chance to experience something other than the occasional loneliness I felt inside.  This clip is a little cut off in the beginning and end, but it represents the kind of escapist sounds I was used to back then.  The really great thing about this performance is there is NO lip-synching:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaPnOASOWIU  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

I know you’ve been busy.  How are you?  Hope I didn’t sound too snuffy in my last comment.  That wasn’t my intention, and I am sorry.  We all know there are laws that really are supposed to protect us, but often do more harm.  Hope also things are going smoothly for you.  I do recognize some patterns in speech on WB that might be you, if you have not gotten tired of the comments.   The hyperbolist is an interesting character.  Dare I say it, the classic example of a liberal progressive.  Smart ass, as-matter-of-fact, but still somewhat well-spoken and obviously intelligent.  Many things he says are meant to shake things up I suppose.  For instance, lefties being non-sexually repressed.  Maybe he meant that as a generalization on purpose, but when I was in high school the left or right had nothing to do with sex, drugs, or alcohol.  Parties were about kids hanging out and being tee-totalers or getting hammered and getting it on.  We had abbreviations for everything in school.  One was FOMO. (Full On Makeout.)

You remember how it was “back then”, even though we’re remembering a different decade.  Kids weren’t saying, “Are you a lefty?  Great!  Then FOMO’s okay with you!”  Whatever our parent’s didn’t catch us at was “cool”, not political.  My days as a youth weren’t always restrictive, drama class was a big perk.  That’s where I met Danny Angel.  You may have heard of him.  He produced that series “Night Visions” and won an Emmy in 2003.  I am really pleased for him that he managed to make his mark, because he worked for so long to get there.  He and I are not at all in touch any more, not for many years, but I remember him as being very smart and funny.  He was on the baseball team.  Great guy!  (He would "remember" me as one of the tee-totalers, as he and I didn't really hang out that much outside of school.)  Maybe hyperbolist is using a method.  Who knows…?  Speaking of methods, I always find it amusing when people try to get spurwing plover’s attention with tips on grammar and punctuation.  He indeed has a history and a “method”.  If you eliminate the need to see grammatical efficiency, then you get exactly what he is saying.  I’m sure you can see he is conservative in his own Pluto-bound fashion.

I just finished watching this really interesting film with Will Ferrell and Dustin Hoffman called Stranger than Fiction.  Wonderful soundtrack!  Maybe you’ve seen it already.  One of my favorite songs was That’s Entertainment by The Jam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O-pjgdVH4g  BTW, is King Leonidas “familiar” to you at WB?  His tragic background is quite unique in that it could only happen to a Spartan.  Hoping this comment finds you well.

Hello.  I wanted to pop in with a quick note, not sure if it really matters.  I was thinking of a Danny I knew in grade school in the above comment.  Dan Angel never went by Danny that I knew of, unless some of his other friends referred to him that way.  I always just knew him as "Dan".  Hope all is well with you.  Have a good one!  :)

I just wanted to mention one more thing for today.  If 'Robert' at WB is 'familiar' to 'somebody in particular', cool!  Either way, it doesn't matter because I would just say to him "Excellent!"  I am speaking of the comment thread at WB (number 52) under the Sept 28 'Dumbest PHD' post.  No one can refute it!  Can't wait 'til they google this company's history.  Revelation can be painful, but transforming.  In fact, who am I talking to here? haha!  ;)  Have a wonderful evening! :D

Hi, how are you, “somebody in particular”?  I was surprised, (but happy) to see those initials again at WB because, well, I thought you had switched to something else.  I’m sure this doesn’t mean a heck of a lot to you, but sometimes when you overreact, you are rather endearing.  Like your aggressive comment toward dave.  You don’t think k’s trying to make you jealous with her “pet donkey” comments to someone else, do you?  Hmmm…again, I’ll let you figure that one out.  It’s so easy to forget who we are through irrational emotions, isn’t it?  Believe me, I’ll always be grateful that you let me hang out here for a while and fantasize.  I’m really hoping you aren’t pissed (no pun intended) at my comment on J.T.’s Take a Wizz thread are you?  Did you find it tacky?  I mean, I thought I was being blunt but not graphic.   And I think my comments are sometimes funny and insightful.  (At least I think so.)

You might be more in the mood to read this some other time, but here goes:  We’re sitting on the couch with air-popped popcorn sitting on the coffee table.  You can pick the drink.  Flipping through the channels, we finally decide on something we can glance up at while talking and you ask me for a neck rub.  My hands are kinda small, but I say I’ll do the best I can.  I get up on my knees a little bit and start into your shoulders.  My hands move up to your neck and rub a little bit softer just up to the nape on the back were your hair stops.  You can pretend I’m this really hot chick you’ve been wanting to be alone with for sometime.  I’ll let you decide who’s wearing (or not wearing) what, and how long it takes for that neck rub to move up front, gradually lower, and turn into something else...

I hope you got a chance to see that SNL video parody of DinnerJacket at WB.  I just laughed out loud when I saw the red evening gown.  Hilarious!  Here’s a nice youtube clip of vintage Beatle footage.  It’s a tribute to John Lennon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym0x3vTw6yc  Hoping this comment finds things going smoothly for you. :)

Heard about a recent disappointment.  Something stopped permanently.  I am sorry.  You know, it's not like "somebody's" talent won't bring many more interesting things his way, such as a current project already currently in progress.  He knows that.  Also saw "somebody's" recent video interview with an author.  I was especially pleased with the off-camera transcript and the last paragraph in that blog entry.  Something about not everything questionable leans completely to the right.  Thank you for that.  I'm sure many saw it.  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody” how’ve you been?  That was an interesting exchange with you and marc.  But why a repeat of a “tired” argument that’s yesterday’s news?  Are you just trying to ruffle feathers?  Only wondering, because you’re certainly enthralled by someone’s writing there, or you wouldn’t go back.  As much as you rag on these people, your need to talk to them is way too transparent.  That is also an endearing trait.  Cute as a button.  I actually gave your caption entry a plus because it made me laugh.  The Little GeeDub that couldn't.  Aw.

I have a theory about human nature and the collective intelligence I was speaking of before.  Kind of knocking it around a little.  It has something to do with conscience and what we really want.  Why some people’s lives transform and others remain the same, and what we open ourselves up to.  Anyway, it’s not really clear yet because I’m trying to structure this theory in an organized fashion.  In a nutshell, to me this collective intelligence has it figured out like a mosaic.  The colors, patterns, everything.  What is useful is alive and interacting and what is not so useful remains dormant but part of the picture.  I’ll figure it out eventually, just not right now.  There’s nothing worse than getting off on all kinds of weird tangents then back to square one again.

I was surfing youtube for some vintage Who concerts, but stumbled on a contributor’s nice compilation of war footage set to Baba O’Reilly instead.  I guess it’s kind of an anti-war protest.  Funny, when I first heard this song, it reminded me of the back field at lunchtime when I was in high school.  Kids weren’t just eating lunch back there, they were smoking pot and doing a few other things.  I usually ate lunch out front on the Senior lawn because the back too crowded and the kids really left a mess when they were done.  Litter everywhere!  Obviously, the song had a much more meaningful scenario in mind:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=iJuGjXlYTF0

Wow, scratch that last theory.  If that were really true, some people's existence wouldn't have much importance, and that just doesn't make sense!  Back to the drawing board...Hoping this comment finds you well.  (Who DO you think should run for President, btw?)  I think I have an idea who it will be.  I hope I'm wrong.

Hello.  How are you?  I’m okay, I guess.  A bit of stress, but no big deal.  One of those things where you say, “Ten years from now, who’s gonna care?”  I saw an odd comment on WB that had me wondering, something about Reagan slaying a hydra.  Wondering where such an idea came into being.  The comment is not quite accurate, but the coupling of the two had me concerned.  No matter, it seemed to have stopped there.  Are you “familiar” with LT on WB?  Just curious.  There was a link to something rather interesting posted at WB I thought I would share with you because it seems rather disturbing.  Very close to what is happening right now in the US.

http://www.uhuh.com/nwo/communism/comgoals.htm

Did you notice J.T. is a libertarian now.  I wonder how that came about, because he used to be a moderate.  Maybe certain commenters have had an influence on him?  I don’t know him personally, so the comments to me make the most sense.  Probably recent revelations.  I’m not trying to be a doomsday enforcer, but this is very real stuff that has happened or is happening right now.  I understand you’ll be pretty busy the next few days, so I just wanted to drop in an say hi.

Here is a nice video by Matchbox 20.  I’m sure you’ve heard this song at least once before.  It’s a weird, upbeat “end of the world” type song.  The video opens with black and white (my favorite!) and has some nice world events footage interspersed.  Rob Thomas is really a brilliant artist, I think.  The only thing I don’t agree with is the End of the World theme.  People make too much out of specific milestones and calendar dates.  True, there is a rough ride ahead, but the best is yet to come.  Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlqfpPf_EO0 Hoping this comment finds you well.  Have a great week! :)

Hello, "somebody in particular".  Hope all is well.  Things are better over here.  Just wanted to stop in real quick
with a few observations.  First, I would have congratulated you earlier in the week about a recent recognition, but
felt the need to hang back for a while.  "LT" is an interesting character at WB.  On one nobel prize post, he is laughing
at the right for expressing outrage and hilarity over the recipient.  In the other, he tries to be more reasonable,
but is still biased.  I can almost guarantee that if GeeDub had won, he'd be spittin' bullets bigtime.  Funny how k thinks
I'm on the left now.  I guess she missed by libertarian comment.  I'm okay with that 'cause it keeps the mystery alive.  I
also noticed that my theories on mind expansion and transformation seem to be backed up by some books I've been reading.
The other day I heard a song I hadn't heard in quite some time and felt compelled to find the video.  Seal is an odd mix of
introversion and confidence.  I'm not sure if the director coached him a little or if he just went with his instincts. His subtle
gestures are perfect with the song and the suggestion that crazy doesn't have to be uncontrolled and go completely over the edge.
You'll appreciate the females in this video, although I have to laugh a little.  All that work on costume and make up only to
be visible for a split second.  My favorite part of this song is of course the primal drum solo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECznJPcWiRI

Hello "somebody in particular", just a quick note.  I plussed your comment under the Saving Grace post at WB.  You had me a little worried about the Seal video I put here that it might have been offensive to you for some reason.  I viewed it again just to be sure and it looked okay to me.  Maybe I'm just being paranoid.  Have a good week!  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Congratulations!  Maybe one more this year?  Whether or not the "brass ring" is upcoming next year remains to
be seen, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!  You like thwacking a stick at the people on WB, don't
you?  (I think you missed some of 'em.)  I know that you're still busy, but I thought I would come by and say

Hello, "somebody in particular".  Just a quick note about the fires and I'm glad your immediate area wasn't affected like last time.
Did you really mean that when you said nothing worthwhile is posted at WB?  You surprise me when you insult everyone and lump
them together as extreme right.  I'll bet you didn't even know HughS is a democrat.  Sometimes you make me wonder what's going on with you, like you're taking something out on somebody.  Or, just being impatient.  Transformation doesn't happen overnight, and there are plenty of markers if you're willing to see them.  It's a little strange where I am right now.  The clouds from all the smoke are dark and beginning to thunder.

Just a side note to G.O.:  Congrats on placing in the caption contest this week! :)  Okay, "somebody", hoping things go well for you this week.
P.S. Have you figured out who's going to be the next President yet? :D

Sooo...how've you been, "somebody in particular?"  They finally have most of the fires contained.  It's cooler in the am, but driving
southbound on the freeway still smells like you're going through a chimney.  A couple of things I just wanted to point out to you:
You're using a doppleganger retired serviceman as a screen name on WB, but you choose to call others (including myself?) liars who
profess a certain political affiliation.  You know why I'm a libertarian, don't you?  I was able to tell you clearly and concisely.  I would really like it some day if you tell me why you're a liberal, so I'll stop assuming it's because you have a lot of double standards.  Your viewpoints seem somewhat vague sometimes.  Yesterday morning I had an odd voicemail on my cell.

The guy's voice was kind of distorted and fogged over so I could barely make out what he was saying.  He sounded kind of sad.  I wish I could have understood him.  No name or phone number, just a clouded message of apology or regret.  You are vague like that sometimes, if that makes sense.  The way you just cut loose on the people at WB makes me want to smack your ass.  But then idea of me finding a way to do that and actually getting away with it are almost comical, so never mind.  It's not like I'm a midget, but if you saw me you'd laugh.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like being under the same roof with you for even five minutes.  Would we get on each others nerves right away or would it take a little while?  (C'mon, that's funny.) I heard an old Collective Soul song on the car radio on the way home today and got curious about the video.  Well, it's brilliant!  The one tiny aspect of life that makes the guy on the roof change his mind, that's what it's all about. http://youtube.com/watch?v=5rW6Px8WmN8

It's supposed to rain on Sunday where you are right now.  Maybe you'll have time to do what I did there when it rained years ago.  Go to McDonald's and get a chocolate shake!  (You know I'm kiddin'.)  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, "somebody in particular".  I just wanted to apologize for some of my wording in the previous comment.  I should
have just asked you to be more specific, like "DJ, why do you lump all the left into one category when it's really
specific politicians that are screwing up royally on both sides?"  That would have made a little more sense.  I also
should have realized that sometimes you just need to vent and you have found a place to do that.  The one question I
would ask you if I could would be, What is it about JT's writing that you despise so much, or is there something
about him that you despise?  He's pretty honest for the most part.  He disclosed that he is using an assumed name on
WB, like most of the regulars, to maintain his privacy. (I still have never e-mailed any of these people)What is it about
him that you hate? Is it something he'sdone to you in private?  Obviously, I'm not really looking for an answer to this
question, but you have me wondering.  So, disregard all that stuff I said about double standards and ass-smacking.
How you live your life is your business and I am always at least going to be your friend.  You know how I feel about you,
and that has still never changed.  I'm sorry, honey.  Still working on the temper thing, I guess.  Hoping this comment
finds you well and the weather fairly decent.

Hello, "somebody in particualar".  Comment avez-vous été? (How've you been?  I'm doing okay, I guess.  Last week I managed to mess up my wrist.  Still haven't figured out how, but it seems to be better now.  For awhile I was really limited on how much I could use my right hand.  Really awkward I must say.  Your comment number 9 under the "Questioning the Timing post" at WB was pretty funny.  But why watermelons?  How about pumpkins instead, in keeping with the celebration?  Unless you knew someone that used to do that.  How sentimental of you. ;)  I wanted to drop this Simpsons (Oh God, not them again!) compilation of Treehouse of Horror clips with a Rob Zombie soundtrack.  I thought it was pretty cool. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ugX1o2UZd4w  Hoping this comment finds you well.  Happy Halloween! :D

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  I hope you had a fun Halloween.  I had fun.  There were some interesting costumes.  You had the standard group efforts with The Wizard of Oz and The Village People.  There was a cool Pirate outfit and a 70s afro.  The cutest one to me was a homemade costume that didn’t need a lot of work.  There’s a guy named Cesar that made a giant horseshoe shaped black and red magnet out of cardboard.  It actually looked pretty good.  On each end he attached little painted cutouts of baby chicks.  His costume was called “Chick Magnet”.  Cesar’s a really big guy, about 6’5”, but very quiet and even-tempered which made the costume all the funnier.  I’m going to have to get rid of the leftover candy.  Those tootsie rolls are oh-so-chewy and addictive!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been negative voted on the caption contest.  I went back to look again, and I guess somebody actually liked it.  Personally, I feel it’s my best effort.  Remember The Pause of Mr. Clause by Arlo Guthrie?  (Ah, that takes me back.) Well, that was my inspiration.  :)  Aw, cute little catnip dealer kitty!  (Ha!)  The real irony is I’ve never smoked a joint in my life.  (Side note to G.O.:  I would have voted for your caption, but I didn’t understand it.)  I’m not sure how busy you are right now, “somebody in particular”, but when you have a couple of minutes to kill, you might want to check out this Linkin Park video.  It’s much better than “What I’ve Done”.  I love the hint of ancient artifacts and the coloring.  The words ring true on a personal level, too: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oIwWqYSbzGA   And if you have an extra couple of minutes to kill, here is the Brilliant Arlo Guthrie’s ponderings about the FBI and Santa Clause.  (Hope you are not offended.)  :)  I realize how long this is, so whenever…Hoping this comment finds you well:

The Pause of Mr. Claus

words and music by Arlo Guthrie

This next song we're going to dedicate to a great American
organization. Tonight I'd like to dedicate this to our boys
in the FBI.
Well, wait a minute. It's hard to be an FBI man. I mean, first
of all, being an FBI man, you have to be over 40 years old.
And the reason is that it takes at least 25 years with the
organization to be that much of a bastard. It's true. You just
can't join, you know. It needs an atmosphere where your
natural bastardness can grow and develop and take a
meaningful shape in today's complex society.

But that's not why I want to dedicate the song to the FBI. I
mean, the job that they have to do is a drag. I mean, they have
to follow people around, you know. That's part of their job.
Follow me around.
I'm out on the highway and I'm drivin' down the road and I
run out of gasoline. I pull over to the side of the road. They
gotta pull over too - make believe that they ran out, you
know.
I go to get some gasoline. They have to figure out whether
they should stick with the car or follow me. Suppose I don't
come back and they're stayin' with the car.
Or if I fly on the airplanes, I could fly half fare because I'm 12
to 22. And they gotta pay the full fare. But the thing is that
when you pay the full fare, you have to get on the airplane
first, so that they know how many seats are left over for the
half fare kids. Right? And sometimes there aren't any seats
left over, and sometimes there are, but that doesn't mean that
you have to go.
Suppose that he gets on and fills up the last seat, so you can't
get on. Then he gets off then you can get on. What's he gonna
do?
Well, it's a drag for him. But that's not why I want to dedicate
the song to the FBI.
During these hard days and hard weeks, everybody always
has it bad once in a while. You know, you have a bad time of
it, and you always have a friend who says "Hey man, you
ain't got it that bad. Look at that guy." And you at that
guy, and he's got it worse than you. And it makes you feel
better that there's somebody that's got it worse than you.
But think of the last guy. For one minute, think of the last
guy. Nobody's got it worse than that guy. Nobody in the
whole world. That guy...he's so alone in the world that he
doesn't even have a street to lay in for a truck to run him over.
He's out there with nothin'. Nothin's happenin' for that cat.
And all that he has to do to create a little excitement in his
own life is to bum a dime from somewhere, call up the FBI.
Say "FBl?", they say "Yes", say "I think Uncle Ho and Chair-
man Mao and their friends are comin' over for dinner" (click)
Hang up the phone
And within two minutes, and not two minutes from when he
hangs up the phone, but two minutes from when he first put
the dime in, they got 30,000 feet of tape rollin'; files on tape;
pictures, movies, dramas, actions on tape. But then they send
out a half a million people all over the entire world, the globe,
they find out all they can about this guy.
'Cause there's a number of questions involved in the guy. I
mean, if he was the last guy in the world, how'd he get a dime
to call the FBI? There are plenty of people that aren't the last
guys that can't get dimes. He comes along and he gets a dime.
I mean, if he had to bum a dime to call the FBI, how was he
gonna serve dinner for all of those people? How could the
last guy make dinner for all those people. And if he could
make dinner, and was gonna make dinner, then why did he
call the FBI?
They find out all of those questions within two minutes. And
that's a great thing about America. I mean, this is the only
country in the world...l mean, well, it's not the only country
in the world that could find stuff out in two minutes, but it's
the only country in the world that would take two minutes
for that guy.
Other countries would say "Hey, he's the last guy...screw
him", you know? But in America, there is no discrimination,
and there is no hypocrisy,'cause they'll get anybody. And that's
a  wonderful thing about America.
And that's why tonight I'd like to dedicate it to every FBI
man in the audience. I know you can't say nothin', you know,
you can't get up and say "Hi!" cause then everybody knows
that you're an FBI man and that's a drag for you and your
friends.
They're not really your friends, are they? I mean, so you can't
get up and say nothin' 'cause other wise, you gotta get sent
back to the factory and that's a drag for you and it's an
expense for the government, and that's a drag for you.
We're gonna sing you this Christmas carol. It's for all you
bastards out there in the audience tonight. It's called "The
Pause of Mr. Claus".
Why do you sit there so strange?
Is it because you are beautiful?
You must think you are deranged
Why do police guys beat on peace guys?
You must think Santa Clause weird
He has long hair and a beard
Giving his presents for free
Why do police guys mess with peace guys?
Let's get Santa Clause 'cause;
Santa Clause has a red suit
He's a communist
And a beard, and long hair
Must be a pacifist
What's in the pipe that he's smoking?
Mister Clause sneaks in your home at night.
He must be a dope fiend, to put you up tight
Why do police guys beat on peace guys?

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  How’ve you been?  My wrist and hand are better, it’s gonna take a few more weeks.  I think it’s just mild carpal tunnel. So, still doubting J.T.’s political affiliation?  I would honestly like to know what you are talking about.  Maybe you think I’m thick or something, honey, but I still don’t understand why you believe he is lying.  Speculating about political strategies doesn’t necessarily define a person’s affiliation.  I haven’t decided on whom to vote for yet.  RP seems like a respectable man, but you know it’s more than that.

I noticed something else about you that I forgot to mention before:  That lisp.  It’s just adorable.  I couldn’t figure out what was causing it at first, but then got a real close look.  That’s got to be one of the sweetest things about you, makes me wish I could wrap my arms around you for just a minute.  Saw a most recent film with “somebody” in it.  Won’t go into details right now but two favorite scenes were the kitchen banter and the “bed head” snapshots.  The one thing that drove me nuts was that crooked picture behind the bald guy as he first entered the house.  I wanted so badly to reach in there and straighten it.  Fortunately, it was only in a couple of scenes.

I had just downloaded this movie.  It’s a cult classic for Tom Hanks fans.  You’ve seen “The Money Pit”, right?  This is an excerpt of one of the best scenes.  The flying turkey is a riot, and the convulsive laugh that erupts from Hanks became the classic opener for the Five O Clock funnies on KLOS in SoCal for years: http://youtube.com/watch?v=GSGMDHMAJrY  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Yay!  I unloaded the tootsie rolls!  I think I understand where you are coming from with J.T. now.  The thing is, though, he has been disillusioned with the Dems for quite some time now.  Considering the blog he posts on is primarily conservative, I still see him as opinionated just with certain politicians, not only because they are left or right.  There is such a thing as a conservative libertarian, however.  I would be a centrist mainly because of my live and let live philosophy.  There are also right leaning libertarians.  What exactly does it mean to you to be liberal, other than artistic freedom and anti-war?  I’m really asking you, because you maintain that J.T. is being dishonest with his satire and opinion.  I don’t ever remember him using “independent” as an answer to any argument.  So tell me:  What exactly is a liberal?  C’mon now, you know that’s not a stupid question.  I realize that returning to rooted opinions provides some comfort, but are those opinions based on conviction or stubbornness?  Entre nous, ce n'est pas la même chose.  (Between us, it’s not the same thing.)  But, whatever.  I’m not trying to be judgmental, here, only to understand.

I wanted to mention another thing about the film I saw recently with “somebody” in it while it’s on my mind.  That kid was incredible.  I can imagine he got some really good coaching from “somebody” to display all that trust.  Such a rare thing to see.  “Somebody’s” character’s moodiness and uncertainty was a good thing to absorb as well.  I don’t know how much you were into music videos, but a couple of years after the launch of MTV, I was all into these videos and had that channel on most of the time I was home.  This is one of the more innovative breakthroughs with claymation you may have seen before with Genesis, obviously politically motivated but with humor.  You might remember “Land of Confusion”: http://youtube.com/watch?v=gBdUz_IJ4VA  the cover by Disturbed with a more serious cartoon video is pretty hot: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9KW8DRSvEoQ   Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Hope all is well.  I’m gradually snapping out of hibernation mode with the time change.  Your milk shake comment was hilarious.  Seriously, though, the only milk shakes that can truly save a life are Bob’s Big Boy chocolate shakes.  Well, and maybe Sonic’s.  McDonald’s just happened to be in London, so that was a comfort thing.  I have a feeling this beef you have with J.T. goes a little beyond the political.  I’m just going to let this unfold and side step as a spectator.  Whatever you feel you need to say to him, well, fine.

I’m going to indulge myself in another little fantasy.  I’m a gorgeous chick again and you and I are under the covers with nothing on.  I don’t think I’ll let you nod off this time just yet.  I’m leaning up against you and looking down.  I start to plant kisses on your face, starting with your forehead, your eyes, then your neck.  Taking my own sweet time, I tuck my head under the covers and begin playing explorer just a little “south of your border”.  Funny, in my fantasy, you don’t seem to mind…;)

There are some endearing moments in this video, and I really love a lot of Metallica’s music, but this has got to be one of the most-well-ordinary music videos I’ve ever seen.  By contrast, I believe this is the best song they’ve ever written: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JgiGrXpOhYg  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

P.S. I understand what a liberal is, but not what it means to you personally, except for rule of law.  No big deal.  I’m paying attention, so I should be able to figure you out gradually, without forcing the issue.

A quick hello.  I'm not sure how much you read MSN's homepage put there are some great space shots featured this week in a slide show.  When you get a chance, you can take a look at these.  The death of a star pic is quite extraordinary and you'll see some eerie satellite shots of the smoke drifting over socal during the scary fire epidemic.  My favorite is the last one where the astronaut points the camera at himself.  Get a good look at the reflection in his mask.  What an amazing shot! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6955261/?gt1=10547  Hoping this comment finds you well.  :)

Okay, I keep trying to stay away from here because part of me still feels like I'm intruding.  But well...I missed you.  Anyway, "somebody in particular", how have you been?  Overall, I'm doing okay.  My hand's getting better with time.  I just have to limit use for little while longer.  Weird.  Still have no idea what I did to it.  Whatever.

Interesting how people look to popularity when trying to predict the Presidential candidates.  Which leads me to a question out of curiosit:  What the hell is a caucus state?  I mean, every state has a caucus, right?  Just wondering...Anyway, I just wanted to drop by with a little cyber hug and a neat vintage video I found.  This is Free from 1970 doing All Right Now.  Paul Rogers is really skinny here:  http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=4701135

Hello, “somebody in particular.”  Just thought I’d drop by for a quick visit.  Your comment number 14 under the Identity Politics thread at WB seems to have been rearranged.  I did get a chance to read it first.  My response to it was laughter.  I think I understand why it wasn’t too popular, though.  Any sentence that starts with those two words has a tendency to suggest a few things…Well, you know.  Someone “maybe familiar” dropped by last week on a particular day at another blogsite, so I added them as a “friend”.   Went to see the Bloo Man Goop recently at the Venetian.  Wild show.  Very creative.  I’m sure you have seen them at least once, right?  During one segment of the show, I kind of felt like a house that had just been toilet-papered.  I had a really good time, though.  On the way back, listening to The Drive on the I-15, I heard this song for the very first time.  This is the stuff you don’t hear on L.A. stations, you might hear it on KCAL or another Inland Valley station, though.  Mandatory Metallica doesn’t exist in L.A., either.  This band is called Alter Bridge.  The song itself is a rather ordinary anthem, but also very simple and moving. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRUpbkzEdrY  Big cyber hug, hoping you have a very nice Thanksgiving and this comment finds you well.  :)

Hello, “somebody in particular,” aka Monsieur “Cookie” Head.  So, you came back to play with us kiddies?  Cool!  (No fair giving away the age of one of your relatives when addressing the people at WB, now.  Kidding, they wouldn’t have a clue.)  I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.  Mine was fairly quiet and enjoyable.  Turkey has invaded and taken over the refrigerator, and will morph into leftovers resembling tetrazzini, enchiladas, and some kind of turkey and dumplings “thing”.  Good thing I like turkey as much as I do.

You had me curious about something you had said to an interviewer.  Your visualization is somewhat different from mine.  When I see a trait I would like to have more of and I’m close to someone demonstrating that trait, I imagine absorbing the trait rather than having it rub off on me.  The rubbing off thing seems like more of a thin layer, rather that an essence, if you know what I mean.  If I were an athlete, maybe my approach would be the same as yours, I’m not sure.  I’m beginning to feel a little guilty over not exercising more.  A long time ago, someone analyzed my natal chart and suggested that I should choose a sport and get really good at it as an outlet to my athletic nature.  Well, now you understand the guilt because truthfully, we’re talking marshmallows and toothpicks in describing my physical make-up.  I’m not really sure how to change these old habits, but I suppose whatever happens, happens.  I just try not to worry about it.

Another thing that drew my attention, though, is when you said you were “not smart enough”.  I understand where you are coming from, maybe self-deprecating to balance your ego.  But seriously, you know as well as I do that if you were really “not smart enough” and didn’t have the goods, you would not be where you are.  A hint of bitterness and defensiveness are showing through, you realize.  In another interview with two men you said you were not private.  I almost spat my coffee out.  Then I thought about it.  When you put yourself out there and display your inner most feelings and motivations, you really do wear your heart on your sleeve and remove all the protective devices.  So, I guess in one aspect you are right.  You feel the need only to protect yourself or someone else, as well?  Both needs are more than valid.

I wanted to drop a couple of things by here.  One is a belated Thanksgiving poem.  You have probably already seen this joke poem, but I really thought it was cute, even if it had an anticlimactic ending. The other is one of the desktop wallpapers that I use for thinking.  Here is the link for the wallpaper called “A Path toward the Stars”.  At first, the sharp edges used to bother me, but I just imagine myself floating and skipping over the edges in flight toward the Earth: http://www.3d-passion.com/wallpaper.php?image=a_path_towards_the_stars&res=1024x768

As a breather, I alternate with a tropical waterfall that helps me calm down.   Here is the Thanksgiving poem.  (Burying my face in your cheek with a big kiss.)  Hoping this comment finds you well.  :)

The Flying Thanksgiving Turkey

The turkey shot out of the oven,
And rocketed into the air.
It knocked every plate off the table,
And partly demolished a chair.

It ricocheted into a corner,
And burst with a deafening boom.
Then splattered all over the kitchen,
Completely obscuring the room.

It stuck to the walls and the windows.
It totally coated the floor.
There was turkey attached to the ceiling,
Where there'd never been turkey before.

It blanketed every appliance.
It smeared every saucer and bowl.
There wasn't a way I could stop it.
That turkey was out of control!

I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure,
And thought with chagrin as I mopped,
That I'd never again stuff a turkey
With popcorn that hadn't been popped.

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Thought I would stop in with a couple of items I thought were a kind of interesting.  The Noose thread at WB yesterday had me googling hate symbols, and I came across this ‘obvious” symbol.  It’s a US military building located in Coronado, CA designed with a familiar shape: http://www.voxfux.com/images/swastica_building.jpg  I can only begin to wonder what went through the minds of the people behind the construction of this building.  Like, what the fondue??  There’s a story to go with it about the infiltration of such symbols in an effort to influence Americans.  Well, the only way this design would be obvious is if you were in a position to get the aerial view.  So why such a design that can only be viewed from an aircraft?  Puzzling, like the purpose of crop circles.  On the other hand, it may mean absolutely nothing. (riiiiight!)

I always thought The Killers were good.  The visuals in this song and the split-second images with playing card symbols are pretty good.  And most of it’s done in my favorite black and white.  Strange lyrics that suggest daydreaming voyeurism are almost hypnotic:

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Man, you couldn’t even post the source to the whole article, where Richelieu dissed CNN as becoming mediocre?  Yeah, I know you hate conservatives, but sheesh!  You’re always the one talking about honesty…You do realize that if it’s a democrat, what the alternative is, don’t you? (The one you’re “praying” doesn’t get into office?)  But enough downers for now.  “Forget your troubles, c’mon get happy…”

I admit it.  I’m still a furry bear in a cave and haven’t gotten used to the time change.  The turkey and dumplings will be demoted to turkey soup tomorrow.  Thank God, it’s almost gone.  Just thought I would stop in real quick and say hi.  Here is a neat oldie from the Rolling Stones.  Gimme Shelter is of course a favorite.  I’m not really a Stones addict, I’ve only seen them about seven or eight times.  The only thing missing in this clip is the background singer in the original recording.  Always gives me goose bumps.  This is almost as good.  They all look like little kids here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tsFKbKk22SU  Big hug and a neck kiss.  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Okay, fine.  I appreciate you putting the link there.  Don't you think it's a better idea to post the source when quoting and wouldn't you prefer others to do the same?  Saves a lot of legwork and makes easier for a discussion, doesn't it?  That's my only point.  You have a nice evening, sweetheart. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Thought I’d drop by for a little bit.  I visited the blog of someone recently and noticed something interesting in the profile.  Under the section labeled “Who I’d like to meet” the only person listed was a loved one who had passed on.  It’s always hard when we lose someone close to us.  Hopefully, somehow this void will be filled with understanding and comfort.  I just left a general message to say hi and ask a question, nothing too personal.

Went to a Christmas party a few days ago.  It was pretty nice, not too formal.  The cover band was decent with a good sax player, and there were door prizes (I didn’t win anything, oh well.)  The hors d’oeuvres were great, egg rolls and crab cakes, yum!  The meal was nice, too.  Filet mignon and chicken breast with creamy sauce, potatoes and a few crispy vegetables.  Notice how I start rambling on about the food?  I really have to figure out the recipe for the potatoes, though.  It’s not like I hate parties or anything, but after a few hours it’s time to make up a reasonable excuse to just git outta Dodge gracefully.  There’s only so long I can hang out and smile at people I hardly know.  (That white Russian had worn off after the first hour.)  There were actually some I did know, but with a guest list of over 1500 in a half lit room, good luck with seeing any of them more than once.

I tivo’d Charlie Brown Christmas and just finished watching it again.  This has always been a favorite of mine, not just to laugh at Pigpen’s dust fly every time he moves, but because of Linus’s monologue about the true meaning of Christmas: http://youtube.com/watch?v=DKk9rv2hUfA  I’m not trying to force a belief on anyone here, but just to point out they don’t make cartoons like this any more.  Another thing they don’t make any more are the variety shows with “heavyweights” as the hosts.  This is a youtube clip my dad forwarded to me a few days ago.  He turned seventy this year and is still working.  I think he just doesn’t want to retire.  Anyway, it’s so easy for me to forget this really good stuff until someone happens to mention it.  This classic setup with Dean Martin and Foster Brooks was so typical back then.  Martin casually sits through his part in the whole skit smoking a cigarette and lets Brooks take the lead and just do his thing.  Dean Martin is still the main personal here, but his respect for extraordinary talent allows him to take the back seat and recognize it.  Maybe you’ll have some time to view this.  I don’t know if you’ll find this interesting, but I laughed out loud a couple of times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8L-ZZSc8JU  Big hug, and I hope you don’t mind if I just press my cheek up against yours for a few seconds.  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  How’ve you been?  Everything’s fine here.  First night lighting the fireplace.  You know what I’ve been wondering?  If you and I actually ran into each other, would we be able to hold a conversation?  Sometimes I think I want to find out.  I see some of your comments on WB then hear your conversations in interview situations, and there seems to be a difference.  Just curious, but is conversation easier for you when you are talking in person rather than in a comment section?  That’s how it seems, and I wonder if it would be that easy between us.  I can type all this because I’ve have a few seconds to think about it, but only in certain circumstances have I felt relaxed in conversation.

But enough of all that “heavy” stuff.  I thought I would stop by with a few things you may have seen already, but here they are.  This is a cool video. A few people have done this before.  Mannheim Steamroller has been used a lot with synchronized Christmas lights.  I thought this version was kind of cute.  It starts a little slow, so be patient: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn45Uucq-AI   This other youtube is not a video, but the song is a hilarious parody of I am Ironman by Black Sabbath.  It’s just called I am Santa Clause.  The “Ho Ho Ho’s” made me think of that dumb staffing company in Australia that fired that Santa.  This song is actually very cute: http://youtube.com/watch?v=kFX3I209LVM   The guy who wrote this parody also wrote a song called “Walking ‘Round in Women’s Underwear” (To the tune of Winter Wonderland.)  I was going to put that here, too, but I didn’t think you would appreciate it too much.   One more thing you might have seen already is more MSN space shots.  The Orion Nebula and Birth of a Star are really beautiful.  Just click on the slide show below the moon picture: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6955261/?GT1=10645  I’m just going to park in your lap again for a minute with my arms around you.  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular.”   Thought I’d stop in real quick and see how you were doing.  Jeez, it’s almost the end of the year.  I have the last two weeks of Dec off, but I’ll have to wait to see a recently released film that “somebody” did right after Christmas.  It’s quite a drive to LA, but I’m sure it’s worth it.  Either that or it will be released in a theatre closer to where I live.  Saw an interview recently with “somebody”.  I liked the three favorite “curse” words.  You were so as a matter of fact when saying them.  Won’t tell you which one I liked the best, but I do wonder if you ever mumbled one of those in my direction at least once or twice.  If so, I can understand why. (half-kidding)  I think in a way its good for now that I don’t know when you’re interested or annoyed at my showing up here.  That way, I’m not affected by it when you just don’t feel like reading.

Yesterday I cut loose on someone at WB under a Pearl Harbor post.  A little while later, I had mixed feelings about it.  Maybe I was too harsh or something, or too blunt.  The following comments confirmed I was actually right on target that time.  This guy had been commenting there a long time, too.  I really do like discussion on weblogs, but when someone comes to a post under the guise of shedding light, only to demonstrate pomp and arrogance, it bugs the hell out of me and I have to say something.  I don’t really like doing that, either.  Well, I know you are busy now and will be even more so after the first of the year.  I guess if you ever close the door to this, I’ll know that you’re tired of me showing up in this place.  I’m torn as to whether or not you still need me, because this whole thing it pretty much beyond me and just where my instincts are going.  It kind of bums me out to think of how much you’ll be moving around next year because it’s a faraway feeling.  But I know that things are really picking up for you, which is great and important right now.

Do you ever have those moments when a thought will pop into your head, then your mind will free associate ideas with one common thread tying them together?  Well, I was doing that when I watched the interview with you in it, and realized how much you had changed over the years.  Then I remembered a quote by David Byrne from the T. Heads about the advice David Bowie had given him.  This was an article I had read a long time ago, so I’m remembering it the best I can.  Bowie told him, “First you get their attention, then you change.”  This is exactly what he had done with the hair and make-up, you know, the whole Ziggy Stardust thing.  You were kind of in reverse.  You got people’s attention early in life, but then just evolved to a place gradually where you had reached a centered plateau.  Now you are receiving recognition for very different reasons, but in keeping with a story very close to your heart.  I think that’s right.  Anyway, I remembered then what changed my whole opinion about David Bowie other than thinking he was a brilliant and eccentric artist.  This was some thirty-odd years ago.  I’m sure you have seen this a million times, but it really shows off Bowie’s exquisite musicianship and what a great voice he has.  This is a Christmas duet, so I thought I would bring it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKTHvW2JcAA   I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to pretend I’m leaning against you on the couch, holding your hand and watching this with you.  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Thought I would drop by for a visit.  So, you think GeeDub should be pretend Cowboy for life in a chained up state? Heh.  Come on, TX isn’t that bad, is it?  It’s been really cold in SoCal these past few days.  I am way spoiled in this state, not really used to chilly, you know.  Anyway, my hand and wrist are mostly back to normal, just a small flare-up every now and then.  Guess I’ll get it looked at just to be sure.  I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to make fudge this year, a lot of stirring is required.  I made the first batch of milk chocolate a couple of nights ago.  It’s a little soft, but pretty good, the texture gets better each day that passes.  Melts in your mouth.  Two or three more batches to go, we’ll see.  I like to make the dark chocolate and vanilla, too. Maybe one more milk chocolate.

I thought I would drop a couple of things here for you when you had the time.  The first is this really odd silent film version of A Christmas Carol done in 1907.  The “soundtrack” is hilarious.  What I find odd is the image of Jacob Marley’s ghost superimposed in the scene.  I didn’t know they did that with films back then.  This short is weird and somewhat boring, but it had a strange effect on me.  This is the kind of thing that makes me feel like I was there, and this “ghost” of an era is a key to my past.  I really don’t think too much about this stuff because the weight becomes to strong, like it’s pulling me back.  The answers for this impression are really quite simple, but the emotions involved deceive us into believing it’s something more.  Here’s the clip, when you have the time: http://youtube.com/watch?v=51w2TmGitls

Anyway, my actual favorite version of this story is the 1951 with Alastair Sim I first viewed about 16 years ago.  I developed a brief crush on him even after I knew he had passed on in ’76.  Nobody plays scrooge like Alastair Sim.  The film is loaded with some really hokey stuff, but the moment that left the biggest impression on me was the response from Jacob Marley when Scrooge tells him he was always a good man of business.  It gave me chills and filled my eyes with tears at the same time.  Marley lets out this shrill, blood-curdling scream, “Business?!  MANKIND WAS MY BUSINESS!!”  And of course his damnation is moving to a fro about the earth as a ghost with no way of helping those in need.  So, the classic cable stations really let me down because no one shows it anymore.  I downloaded my own copy from BearShare.  It’s not the best quality, but I’m a happy camper now.

Here is another goodie, if you get a chance to look at it.  The website is called Digital Blasphemy.  www.digitalblaspemy.com. There are some great wallpapers there.  If you look to the left as you enter the website, you’ll see the link for the free downloads.  Here is the url for a wallpaper I use a lot, also a visual for thinking:  http://digitalblasphemy.com/fshow.shtml?i=sakura&w=1152&h=864&y=2006&n=Sakura&b=count&z=228974819870693077

Most people wondered about s. plover and why Kevin allowed his vowels to be removed.  He has an interesting background, as I might have said before.  You remember when someone at WB mentioned that Aces missed him?  Here is a blog page with some info for you.  Since he has been all but banned from WB, I figured I would bring this here.  The most intriguing revelation is from comment 21 near the bottom of the page.  I will leave this for your speculation on whether you actually believe it.  Also, take note as to when the comment was written. :  http://patterico.com/2006/10/11/krazy-kagu-outed-he-is-spurwing-plover/  I’m going to lean up against you and bury my face in your back for a moment to get warm.  Hoping this comment finds you well. : )

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  How’ve you been?  I can’t believe how freakin’ cold it’s been getting lately!  It’s just not normal over here, you know? (ha!)  Yesterday am on the way to work, my car weather temp read 36 degrees at the top of the hill.  WTF?!  This is SoCal, right?!  Anyway, I thought I would stop in for a minute.  I really have to clean up around here a little bit.  Talk about a packrat!  Really, I’m not that great of a housekeeper.  There are only a few things I care about: The bathroom and kitchen must be at least sanitary.  Dishes must be spotless.  Not too much dust, and not so much clutter that you have to fear for your safety when you walk through the front door.  Other than that, I’m basically a slob, albeit a clean slob.

I am a little dense sometimes.  It hadn’t dawned on me to search Alastair Sim with Scrooge in youtube.  For all I know, you may have seen this version with a lot of other people who believe it’s the best.  Here is the scene I was talking about.  Marley is visiting Scrooge bearing warning about his life.  You will not see anyone else portray Marley such as Michael Hordern.  He isn’t just a ghost, he embodies the deepest primal expression of remorse and regret from days long ago.  That screeching howl he comes up with is so visionary and brilliant, so one has ever matched it.  None that I know of, anyway.  The only thing missing is where the ghost tells Scrooge what his “business” should have been.  I wish I could find the whole clip for you:http://youtube.com/watch?v=o7dY0GOtkv8

Here also is something for the man who has everything.  The website design needs a little work, but I don’t think you have seen this yet: http://www.baseball-reference.com/   And one more thing I’m going to be dangling over your head, while I “follow” you around:  http://library2.nalis.gov.tt/Portals/0/601/mistletoe%202%20short.jpg Hoping this comment finds you well. :D

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  I know you have been busy, so when you get a chance to read this…How’ve you been doing?  I’m doing pretty well because of a break from the routine of commuting 70 miles each day in traffic.  That by itself has been a big stress reliever, especially minus the afternoon rush hour.  Today, I’m making an attempt to eliminate some clutter around the place.  So far, the clutter is winning.  A stack is formed on one side to apply a little closure in one area, and after a half hour, the volume had multiplied and grown into three times the size it was.  There’s a big question mark over my head as to how that even happened, but I’ll just try again later.  Other than that minor detail, vacation has been pretty relaxing so far.

Yesterday or the day before, something a little disconcerting happened.  There is another community site where I have a profile but don’t do any blogging, and I logged in to find my account was blocked because of phishing violations.  Someone had actually acquired my password to log in as me.  What the hell for?  Sometimes people will do this to try to get other personal info like logins for financial accounts and whatnot, but I never save my password at these sites, so I was very fortunate.  I just had to reset my password to unblock the account and log in again.  Man, some people get really desperate (or just downright sinister) around the holidays.  Part of my job at work is determining who to send to fraud resolution if there is a problem.  Just this past Friday, I was talking to a girl who had her purse stolen at a friend’s house during a robbery.  They beat up the guy and everything.  He’s going to be okay, but she received alerts that her credit was being accessed.  That’s the kind of thing that can happen with phishing, as well.  I hope Tom the admin. at the other site tracks down who it was.  Anyway, enough of the boring everyday stuff.  Looks like I might be able to see “somebody’s” film sooner than I thought.  It’s playing closer to where I live, about sixteen miles away.

One other thing I needed to mention.  There seems to be something that I “missed” yesterday morning.  It wasn’t intentional.  I think I’m just not in tune this week.  I checked my biorhythm (yeah, sometimes I do) and my intuition is very low this week.  When this happens, I just try to go into automatic and get the necessary things done.  Everything else is a hit or missed and free for all.  I saw “somebody” on a few interview and talk shows this past week and couldn’t help but laugh when I noticed the female opportunists.  Well, it is what it is.  I suppose if I were in there position, and looked half as good as they did, I would try the same thing.  Maybe not on camera, but perhaps something like it.  Even with the surrounding circumstances being a little bit complicated, let me just “put this out there”.  Eventually the timing will “connect”, and in spite of the way I’m always going to feel about you, I will always in one way or another be there for you.  At the very least, a supportive friend you can count on.  Even I don’t really know what means yet.  Since you are pretty much “hooked up” for that event next year in Feb, I’ve decided that I’ll just find a way to be near the premises on that day as another type of support.  You may not see me, but since it’s not on a school nite, I’ll just make it a point to be in the vicinity.  You can talk to me if you need to.  There’s no walls here, just hesitation because I have lived my whole life that way.  One step at a time.  I’m kind of bumming a little bit because I wanted to give you a little box of some of the fudge that I made.  Maybe I’ll just find a way to send it to you without any fanfare, but I can’t guarantee it.  We’ll just have to see.  All that other stuff I mentioned, I’ll leave up to you.  I just had a funny thought.  There was a post on WB about an unflattering photo of HC yesterday, and I made a comment on it.  Then I thought of my screen name that I use there.  Who better to judge what is ugly than a Medusa?   Hahaha!   I think I’m the only one paying attention to blazing irony there!

I wanted to send this hokey animated clip to you.  This is the last five minutes of The Little Drummer Boy.  It’s always been one of my favorite kiddie shows, besides having the very best version of the song.  My favorite part here his when the boy begins drumming for the baby, it has the most haunting arrangement.  I’m searching on utorrent and BearShare for this same version: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dZvjPCcHI4g

Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  I’m watching the last part of The Illusionist right now.  Seriously, I think Rufus Sewell, the man who played the crown prince had the most commanding role in that film.  Anyway, how’ve you been?  Ready for Christmas?  Me, neither.  Just a few more things to shop for, though.  I sure won’t be stupid enough to go to places like Nordstrom Rack in the evening again, when I think everyone else has gone home.  Man, it was like an indoor garage sale blew up with everybody on the block  was contributing their markdowns at the same sale.  You know how weird it is to see a package of stockings tucked in neatly with a tie display?  (I almost grabbed them, but they were the wrong size.)  You live and you learn.

Yesterday, I went to get my nails done.  Finally bit the bullet earlier this year and decided to start doing it, mainly because my nails are pretty cruddy and really need to be at least professionally manicured.  Well, after I sat across the manicuring table with this Vietnamese woman I like to ask for, she opened the conversation asking me if I had any kids.  I gave her a side-step answer that purchasing a house has to come first to avoid being specific.  This works really well if you just don’t know yet whether you’ll go down that road or find nurturing fulfillment in other ways.  I followed up with the same question, and she told me about her three, the youngest being twelve.

My point in bringing all this up is the direction in which the conversation turned.  She started talking about her sister’s ten children (one adopted), and how she had died last year.  I expressed my condolences, and asked her how she died, because she was only 55.  She said it was a heart-attack, and I think she said her sister passed away in church.  About ten years before that, she was in a really bad car accident where she had broken both of her collar bones and had to get wired into a head and neck brace.  I can’t even imagine having to sleep sitting up for six months.  I’m thinking the number of kids combined with the injuries in the car accident maybe took its toll on her.  Still, that’s pretty young.

Well, Jennifer, the woman doing my nails, told me about a dream she had had three nights after her sister died.  She dreamt that her sister called her on her cell phone and only cried.  In the dream, Jennifer kept saying, “Stop crying, I can’t hear what you are saying!”  Well her sister wouldn’t stop crying and just hung up the phone.  I said the first thing that popped into my head which was something like, “She was probably sad that she had to go and wishes she could talk to you again.”  Jennifer just nodded in agreement and quietly finished working on my nails.  I started thinking more about that later on.  Perhaps it was really Jennifer who was sad and projected this wish in the dream.  I broke the tip of my thumbnail today so I’ll see her to get it fixed tomorrow.  Maybe I’ll try to sneak in a hug before I go if it feels appropriate.  We’ll see.

I wanted to drop this video by.  It’s the I Am Santa Clause video.  Probably no small children should be around when you watch this, Santa is a bit scary in the opening.  I just thought the Ozzy impersonator at the end was a cute idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRW2poUfJ34   Here is another clip that you really have to be in the mood to watch.  It’s the opening of a film called The Mouse That Roared (1959) with Peter Sellers in three roles.  You must see the whole film at least once because of how smart the story and script are, and how the comedic political references (cold wars, foreign policy, the whole ball of wax) drip with irony.  It’s about this tiny imaginary British country called Grand Fenwick that is in financial distress and decides to declare war on the U.S. so they can lose and acquire foreign aid.  Their livelihood was a wine unique to the growers in their country.  The first irony is the U.S comes up with a knock off of Grand Fenwick’s wine, renames it and steals all their business.  Who better to lose a war to and get help?  If you have a chance to see the whole movie, you’ll see Seller’s “army” of 20 tromping all over a deserted Manhattan looking for someone to surrender to, not realizing that the whole city is underground because of an air raid drill.  Meanwhile, a scientist in the U.S. has just invented the “Q-bomb”, which has the potential of annihilating a whole continent if it were to go off.  Guess who steals the bomb, screws up the country’s plans, and ends up winning the war?  This is my favorite Peter Sellers movie.  Here is the clip which introduces characters and the story: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or9C-gt4TpA  Here is another youtube I wanted to send over.  This video is pretty corny, but filled with nostalgia.  I didn’t start watching MTV until ’83, but back then I had a major crush on Billy Squire.  There are three words in this song from me to you:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG9QyKxYUxw Do you know what the very first video played on MTV was and who introduced it?  Do you know the day and year?  August 1, 1981.  The Veejay was Mark Goodman.  This was the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8l_HzteJcU  Hoping this comment finds you well, (Baby)  :D

Hello, “somebody”.  I was going to give this a rest because I thought maybe you’d be tired of me coming here.  But then these are comments you can read or leave alone, so it’s all good.  Looks like I’ll have to wait until that film goes to DVD, cause it’s not in the theatre any more.  That’s okay, I can wait.  I noticed your comment on WB today under the post titled, The Good, the Bad, etc.  Your second sentence started with “Probably not worth much…”  Are you used to saying stuff like that?  You people “from Iowa” sure are self-deprecating sometimes.  Or did someone else give you the idea to say that?  I’ll be the first to say that I’m no genius, but if I feel my opinion means something you’ll hear it.  And I felt the information in your comment was actually honest and straightforward.  Definitely worth something.

I also noticed that the newest young female blogger on WB has an idea as to whom she might be blogging.  Not only did she make a point to disclose when she was alone during shopping, she also made a point to post a picture showing off her “assets”.  To be fair, if I looked like her and were the same age, I might do the same thing if I thought I was getting the attention of someone “important”.  I might as well say this at the risk of sounding arrogant.  When I was her age, I was actually prettier.  I was kind of a prude though, and didn’t make a point in letting it all hang out.  That was a phase I went through in high school, a hundred years ago when Indian halter tops and string bikinis were just the thing to wear.  I’m really surprised at what I got away with wearing in school back then.  There are no regrets here, because I had my moment of being young and beautiful.  Maybe the shyness makes me comfortable with just being okay-looking now with a truck-load of flaws.  I have a lot to be grateful for.

Now you see why I define myself as a friend to you.  You could literally tell me anything and not have to worry.  I wouldn’t expect to believe me or actually do that, we all need to maintain some amount of privacy.  But knowing that you run into young women like her a lot puts things in perspective for me.  From where I stand now, I’m just happy to live another year and long enough to “tell the tale.”  And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize it ain’t what you got, it’s what you can do with it, where I am also blessed and very grateful.  Which brings me to my point about worth, “somebody”.  I’m not brilliant, but I’m pretty damn smart sometimes.  Smart enough to know how good it is to see you express an opinion about something relevant on WB, rather than kissing the blarney stone again and dissing everyone in the comment section.  Reading your actual opinion was important to me because you so rarely take the people at WB seriously.  This is going to sound like a dumb question, but you’re not afraid to talk to me are you?  I mean, on my end, I might be kind of nervous even over the telephone.  You would hear something like, “Wait, let me get a drink really quick, if you have the time,” while I’m doing a wind sprint into the kitchen, just to relax me a little bit.  Then we might actually stumble into something that resembles a conversation.

No new videos today, but just a holiday drink idea.  Have you ever tried a Nog Slide?  Oh man, what a great drink!  Mine is the “tee-totaler” blend.  Equal parts of Kahlua, Irish Cream, Egg Nog, milk or half and half.  I leave out the vodka because I like it better without it.  Maybe you don’t like sweet drinks, but I love it!  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody”.  In case you’re wondering, this is my way of being “around” you during the holidays, so I’m stopping by again.

I started reading that Moderate blog you mentioned at WB.  The first comment under the HC’s political boon post today was a bit extreme.  The commenter confused the word campaign with champagne, I think.  Must be that time of the year, huh? ;)  Which do you think is the best champagne?  I mean, for under $50.  I prefer Asti, myself.

To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of movies with subtitles.  There are exceptions to the rule, however.  Showtime is running this film called District B13 (Banlieue 13) (2004)   The story is pretty interesting.  The year is 2010.  An undercover cop and an ex-con are trying to infiltrate a gang in order to diffuse a bomb.  I just wanted you to get a look at this chase scene because it’s really awesome (the only reason I say words like “awesome” is because I have about 3 decades of slang following me around anyway) with a lot of great stunts in it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=G2_p8JJHRTA .

I was listening to this song the other day in rush hour Christmas traffic.  Boy, people are nuts.  This car almost rear-ended my lucerne while I was waiting for a truck to merge.  Seriously, that was a close one.  I don’t think it would’ve taken me out completely, but that would have been hospital trip for sure.  Even today, when something like that happens, I just say it out loud: “Thank you, Jesus!”  I realize that when your number is up, that’s all there is to it, but I also feel that Someone is looking out for me.  Heading home north on the fwy, I looked over and there was a six car pile up on the southbound.  Anyway, I was remembering that song I heard.  Every now and then, I still knock on wood as a force of habit.  This song suggests that it’s not a good thing, but in my opinion it couldn’t hurt.  I have no idea what this cartoon is about, I just wanted to find a video with the song by Reel Big Fish: http://youtube.com/watch?v=XZQNhpjm-Xo   Okay, I’m going to just pretend now that I caught up with you (again) armed with mistletoe.  Hoping this comment finds you well.  :)

Hello, “somebody”.  Okay I was wrong about the meaning of the word champaign.  As soon as I sent the previous comment over, a quick search at Webster’s revealed my mistake.  Still, I like the word champagne better.  Even better, the word Asti.  :D

What do you think of the stories that come up periodically telling us of this or that asteroid that may or may not hit the earth-give or take 25,000 light years?  The words sensationalistic distraction come to mind, but what do I know.  It might be worth a trip up to that observatory I mentioned to hang out with a grande café mocha in hand for that non-event.  Would anyone show up and express that collective “awwww!” of disappointment if the asteroid misses?  Eh, whatever.

Looks like I missed the boat on the tv showing of the Grinch this year.  A youtuber was nice enough to upload it in 3 parts.  I know you have seen this at least a million times, but I wanted to point out some funny stuff in part three: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KHz0Q5yXsr0   First, the non-plussed look on the dog’s face just before the Grinch cracks the whip, second, the tiny image of the Who’s opening up their little circle like a paper doll cutout, and third, that damn “roast beast”.  I mean, what in the hell is that thing?  It’s got legs but no bones inside.  Cuts like butter, too. Maybe it was made out of spam like in that M*A*S*H episode where they were expecting lamb for a luau or something, and had to settle for what the Hawaiians really eat.

One more thing I wanted to drop by today.  Now, I know you may not be into any songs about God or Christ, but this is a traditional song that is one of my favorites and brings me the most exhilaration.  The unique thing about this rendition is who the singers are and where this concert is.  This also has to be one of the most amazing recordings of the Hallelujah Chorus I have ever heard.  You may or may not care to hear this, bur I was completely blown away by this upbeat and enthusiastic performance. This was taped in Hong Kong last year: http://youtube.com/watch?v=md-ws6knYkE   Hoping this comment finds you well.  (Watch out for that kwazy twaffic!)  :)

Hello, “somebody”.  Just a couple more goodies before Christmas officially kicks off.  Earlier this am I was trying my hand (mouse) at virtual Gingerbread Man decorating.  What a mess!  I didn’t realize how hard it would be.  I just dubbed the little guy “Gingerbread Roadkill Man”, put two x’s for eyes, and closed out the site.  No, I didn’t save my “work”.  Anyway, if you had to travel, I hope it was a pleasant trip with no scary experiences.

This is the video from two years ago that made the synchronized Christmas lights to music trend popular.  The song is called Wizards of Winter.  This show is cute and amazing at the same time.  Kind of an “in your face” holiday celebration.  The video quality isn’t that good, but you really have to expand the window when you view it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IK90Ys2LhSo

Here as a great U2 Christmas video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qGd1ZRTuPEY

Hello, "somebody".  I hope you had a nice Christmas.  C'mon, Babe.  Lighten up a little, okay?  This is a woman, not a child, and this is only a caption contest.  Not a story about drugs or drunk driving.  I KNOW you have said worse things about women, including myself at one time or another.  I had no idea you and the one you are addressing would come in there and try again to make conservatives look like they are inhuman and void on the map.  When you know damn good and well worse things about THEM have been said that hasn't come close in these captions.  Can you and will you live up to those lofty standards you impose on others?  I'll bet you're just as "disgusted" with my comment.  The timing right after yours was not intentional.  Hoping this comment finds you well.

“Somebody”, I wanted to add something.  Under the Dec 27th Global Warming post at WB, comment number 37 answers nc’s question about a global cooling source for comment 32.  Comment 107 under the caption contest is a little over the top, isn’t it?  If I were a neocon, I might be insulted.  The only reason you are upset about the subject of the contest is because she resembles someone you have a crush on.  I certainly don’t hold that against you since you think I’m a fossil, but emotional bias doesn’t award you with clear thinking.  You still haven’t answered my question about what a liberal is.  And why don’t you comment at that Moderate site you mentioned?  You like reading it, but you would rather post a comment with an insult at WB?   My goals still remain the same, regardless of what you really might think of me.  I love seeing the progress at this blog.  Being a centrist really does pay off.  It just dawned on me.  Maybe all your hate speech really is directed at me, and you’re not addressing me just protect yourself. *sigh* hoping this comment at least finds you well.

Hello, “somebody”.  How’ve you been?  I’m okay-a little agitated.  Not really sure why, maybe because I have to start getting up at 4 am and doing the commute thing again, starting tomorrow.  Luckily, it’s only for three days this week.  The moderate site had some interesting activity on the Dec 30th Trans Atlantic post, didn’t it?  A commenter I’d seen before, DQ, was confronted by two commenters.  One HPM tried to have a debate/discussion with him, but DQ stopped for some reason.  The only frustrating thing was HPM’s “failure to communicate” with DQ.   Still, HPM was happy about the “breakthrough”, finally a conversation!  Albeit, a short one.  :D

I narrowed my New Years resolutions down to just a few things.  One would be to lower my cholesterol level. I saw the results last Friday (It’s through the roof and I had no idea!) and figured I better do something, although I’m not sure how yet.  I’ll figure it out.   Anyway, the rest are the regular laundry list that most people come up with just to go through the motions…While I was posting a new blog entry on another site, the film Field of Dreams was on.  The whole idea of the field, the characters involved and Ray’s deepest wish started to make sense to me beyond the storyline.  I realize that this is just a movie we’re talking about, and the story was fictional, but I think there is a way for everyone to do this in their own fashion.  You know, talk to someone whom has passed on to say or do things for closure.  You may discover this before me, “somebody”, but I still plan on finding out, since it has now become a personal goal for myself with certain people that I knew.  The thing to remember is that the magic already exists, and somehow if we attuned to it, we experience it.  Just like walking through a chain link fence is an occurance without explanation, and if we make too much of it, we disappoint ourselves expecting more than what’s necessary.

Well, I wanted to let you know that I think about you every day.  If you saw the exchange of comments on that moderate blog, you would understand that there is nothing to fear.  This is also something I have to remind myself of, because it was so easy, wasn’t it?

I saw Bruce Springsteen live a long time ago for the Born in the USA tour.  He’s unbelievable and never sells you short.  I was scanning through youtube (again) and happened to find this really bad video of a great song.  I thought it was appropriate with the screen name of the commenter at the moderate blog and how great Bruce looked back then.  Wonderful cover of an already great song: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tvQIxIQMB0g  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Just so that you know, HPM wasn't aware of who DQ might be until the conversation kept going.  HPM, btw, is awaiting an (honest) response from DQ at the moderate site.  Also, two commenters are awaiting a response from NC at WB.  What the hell "prize" is he talking about?  These blogs are for problem solving, not egos.  You "Cookie" head, you!  What are you so angry and indignant about?  You have so much love and so many good things around you.  If I am wrong, at least I  admit it.  There are people that use each other and people that help each other.  Maybe I have my head in the clouds, but isn't the latter the better choice?  Man, it's a good thing I have people in my life that actually respect my opinion and who I am.  If my self-esteem were up to you, I'd be desolate.  From now on, tell God how much you hate me, maybe you'll hear his actual response.

That being said, if my coming here is now an intrusion, I hope you will forgive me some day.

Okay, sorry, I'm back.  NC has to explain that comment.  I'm not talking about only economists.  We are talking about factual statistics combined with evaluation of the actual nature of things.  The real issue is proving that man is the cause of said "illness".  That's what the discussion is about.  I can understand that you may be tired of this, but there is more clarity needed here.  Ignore the sarcasm of one commenter, please.  Hoping this comment finds you well...

Hello, “somebody”.  How are ya?  I’m a little tired from adjusting my sleeping patterns.  I got used to saying up later and sleeping in until 6 or 7.  Man, what a shock to the system!  Anyway, I was thinking more about what I said the last time.  You know, about the movie Field of Dreams?  The one thing I have noticed so far, is even though this is fiction, the magic excluded no one.  All the people involved in Ray’s dream had a reason for being there, right down to the end when you see the panorama of headlights.  The one thing I always wondered was about the actual fate of James Earl Jones?  Was he going to come back, or was that his passing?  Funniest line to me is: “You’re guests in my corn!”

A long time ago, I lived a good portion of my life through free association and hearing not “voices”, but feeling impressions.  I was pretty much on Pluto half the time, because my instincts were pretty strong and dealing with life this way was less stressful.  Well, I just thought I would share that little bit of nonsense with you because it’s a tool I use sometimes to get answers.  Time to get hokey again.  Remember the song Dreamweaver?  Well, that was my state of mind.  It worked most of the time.    Check out the cheesy David Cassidy 70s style outfit!  http://youtube.com/watch?v=8EEQZfEQvIg

Hoping this comment finds you well, Sweetie.  :)

Hello, “somebody”.  How are you doing today?  It’s supposed to rain all weekend.  That means I’ll be stuck inside most of the time, forcing me to do some actual cleaning.  Yippee.  I saw something a bit amusing and peculiar on WB today.  “Somebody” copied and pasted the exact same comment under two different caucus posts.  One comment received 5 plus votes, the other, a minus vote.  How the hell did that happen?  Some people must not be awake in the am, or just programmed to react to screen names.

I was kind of bumming because that “spectacular” meteor shower this am was visible on the other side of the continent and in the Midwest.  Damn.  I’m googling around off and on to see if I can find some images.  I’d eventually like to actually see one of those things with a telescope.  I guess timing is everything.  I did stumble on a pretty cool sky surfing video.  I hope the first half of the title isn’t too offensive to you, although the second half is hilarious!  “…you could be killed OR even die” HA!  You don’t do this kind of stuff, right?  (Please tell me you don’t.)  Anyway, here is the video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGYo9CM3_qA&NR=1  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  How’ve you been?  Coming here makes you not so far away, for what it’s worth.  Most of the holiday problem foods have disappeared except for a few sugar cookies and half a can of Almond (drool) Roca.  I was pondering that Field of Dreams idea again, as silly as it sounds, and I think I’m starting to get a few more things.  You know what I mean, why I keep coming back here and the different connections.  I’ve noticed these connections happened all by themselves without my expectation.  What started out as a quick visit evolved into something else altogether.  There are also questions about yourself that you have answered unintentionally.  References such as “chickenhawk” and “inane slogans of scared little boys” are beginning to make more sense on a level other than political.  I would almost ask you if you needed to talk to me about something, but you might have already done that.  Not to say I wouldn’t listen if you ever needed to.

Back to the Field of Dreams thing:  Ray just wanted to have a catch with the person he said something horrible to.  He wasn’t interested in the supernatural, just experiencing something that would replace the regret and void he felt when this person wasn’t around any more.  In essence, this capsulated event represents what we all would like to do.  Not to speak to those that have passed on, but to find closure and replace a disturbance with peace.  I have some things going on inside me, too.  Resolutions, reckonings, that sort of thing with some family members.  You are an equal blend of two of them, except you are a big, cute, sexy, pissy fuzzball.  You also had a completely different upbringing than they.  Problem solving has never been so sensual...(I’m only half kidding, there.)   So, the question I’m left with at this time is what do I need to build to replace that void with completion?  Have you ever asked yourself that question?  The answers are coming slowing, but surely.  Obviously, Ray’s situation is quite different from mine, but there is a guideline there for me to work on.  He attracted all these people on this journey into the unknown.  What to build that would create a focal point for a series of events to fall into place?  What would all these events have in common that would fill that void?  Just going with the flow will probably be one of the hardest lessons I’ll ever have to learn in my lifetime.  This video is nine and a half minutes long, so when you have the time.  It’s a skysurfing video from 1992.  Amazing!  I wish I could have done something like this when I was younger: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KuI7VMia45Q  Hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody”.  How are you?  Just thought I would stop by real quick.  The comment under the Naturalization post at WB today was a bit comical.  The immigrant complaining about the wait time was from Venezuela, and the commenter asked her if she had been making burritos for 30 years.  Burritos a very scarce in Venezuela, and would probably be the last cuisine she would think of making.  Funny!  Anyway, it made me think of the past 30 years of my life, basically used for cleaning up the mess and putting myself back together on the inside.  I had to do it myself because no amount of therapy would have worked.  I suppose the closest I came to any therapy were some acting classes I took in ‘89 and’90 down in Huntington Beach.  That’s where I met Jason Lee.  He would mainly come to visit and hang out.  We were all acquainted with the same acting coach in LA, whom I had met in Orange County eight years before.  Jason was quieter and shy back then, just coming out of himself.  He would inject opinions about other scenes and I think he only did one monologue that I remember in class.  It was that scene from the Breakfast Club were Emilio Esteves’ character talks about his dad and why he was in detention.  He was doing bit parts in sitcoms and had just finished Vestige of Honor.  I was out of touch with Jason after that, he probably wouldn’t even remember me.  I’m glad he’s done so well for himself.  He’s completely self-sufficient in Hawaii now, grows everything himself.

Anyway, that was just one phase of restructure and repair, bringing me to the point where I’m just as abnormal and alien as everyone else.  Now I have to focus on the outside.  That’s gonna suck.  I heard this song driving home this afternoon.  Again I was curious about the video.  Great lyrics!  Great video with Black n White contrast alternating with color.  http://youtube.com/watch?v=DeQzoBrCxh8

“Love makes strange enemies
Makes love when love may please
Soul in a strip tease
Hate brought to its knees”

Hello, “somebody in particular”.  Just stopped in real quick to visit for a minute, it makes me feel like you’re closer to me.  I was watching Sixth Sense again for the umpteenth time and was pondering a little…Do you believe in ghosts or do you think they are emotional energy impressions, kind of like bruises in the atmosphere that are stuck like a broken record?  I always wondered about that because my strongest impressions are not visible, they’re felt.  One example of what I mean was a story I saw on TV about a bus full of school children stuck on a railroad track that got hit by a train.  I can’t even remember which town this was, so I’ll have to google it sometime.  The children all died on the bus because they couldn’t get off fast enough to avoid it.  The phenomenon is that whenever someone parks their car on the track, the car moves forward slowly off the track.  But then the real oddity is upon examining the trunk of the car afterwards, there are small handprints like that of children, as if their ghosts push the car to safety.  It doesn’t matter what type of car either, the car is moved and the prints appear.  This is something I would like to experience some time to maybe get a feel for what’s going on.

I also wanted to drop off this hilarious video.  Now, I know you have at least heard of this comedian.  He is talking about your stomach inviting drinks in to party.  There’s a cartoon that goes with it.  Check out the teeth on the Irish Whiskey and the little tequila shot glass with the Sombrero, especially cute when one shot glass runs back to retrieve the worm.  The video is only a couple of minutes long, but may take a little while to load. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=18868226

Hoping this comment finds you well, sweetie. :)

Hello, “somebody”.  I just wanted to come in for a minute and say hello.  Evidently, we have differing views of American business, but we don’t need to go into that.  It’s still pretty cool over here in the am.  I would like to think I’ve gotten used to 40 degree weather, but it still cuts right through me.  I really like those duraflame logs, they last one lasts about three hours.  The flame is nice and steady, too.  Just for the sake of mentioning it, sometimes I wonder what you are wearing at the time you read this.  What’s that you say?  Nothing at all?  Half-kidding, there…;)  I found a link to the Unsolved Mysteries forum where people are discussing the kids and that bus accident, and how the cars roll partially up a hill over the tracks to safety.  They don’t elaborate much there, but on another site, someone said it’s a true story.  http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com/usm391873.html

I was thinking of Field of Dreams again too.  Remember when Doc Graham is little Archie and playing ball with the guys, but then hears that Ray’s daughter needs help?  As soon as he crosses over the white line, he becomes Doc Graham again.  He gets to wink at the pitcher and slide in over the plate as he’d imagined, but was always aware of his true destiny.  In essence, the real miracle here is that he’d been dead for years but answers his calling one last time to save the life of Ray’s daughter, which was the most important reason he was allowed to come along.  He could never “go back” because it was never meant to be.  For that reason also, he disappeared into the cornfield by himself back to his rightful place in history, and not with the other ballplayers.  Before he exits, he uses the catch phrase, “I’d best be goin’, or Alicia will start thinking I have a girlfriend.”  Eh, don’t mind me.  I just ramble sometimes.  But I was thinking this is a lot how life is.  There is always the question of how each of us fits in that puzzle, so we can maintain our freedom but help the big picture at the same time.

Here’s a cute behind the scenes clip of Aerosmith on the Simpson’s: http://youtube.com/watch?v=bs8KiAxPG_M

Hello, “somebody in particular”, aka Handsome “Cookie” Head.  Just dropping in to say hi again.  I also wanted to mention that comment number 5 under WB’s Jan 11 Moral High Ground Post was hilarious and I had to plus it.  I just busted up laughing.  There seems to also be a familiar voice on today’s 3:40 pm post at WB.  I’m watching Déjà vu with Denzel Washington right now.  This is actually a pretty good film with a lot of pieces to the puzzle, but I had one question in my mind.  Have you noticed how there seems to be a trend with the off-brown coloring in the cinematography?  Maybe it’s supposed to add a mood to the time travel effect or something.  Maybe it’s cheaper?  (kidding, ha!)  Anyway, for some reason, I felt that they sold me short here, with a film that was not full color.  I don’t know…

This is a really great website I wanted to drop over.  Someone forwarded to me in an e-mail.  Now, I’m not sure just how into some of these oldies you will be, but there’s a few I’m sure will be close to your heart.  There’s no way to open the screen any bigger, but they’re all performance videos.  A couple of my favorites are Dusty Springfield’s Son of a Preacher Man and Neil Diamond’s He ain’t Heavy, He’s my brother.  I’m probably wrong about this, but I almost could’ve sworn the two women at the end of the Neil Diamond video are the girls from Abba in the audience.  There is a link for page 2 at the bottom.  A must see is the Chuck Berry Rockin and A Reelin video in List 11.  Here’s the link, it automatically opens with Ricky Nelson’s Travelin Man.  Just click the drop downs and select the video you want to see.    http://www.my-3-sons.com/javascript-flv/player1.php?url=Travelin%20Man%20-%20Ricky%20Nelson.flv

Hello, “somebody”, sweetie face, how’re you doing?  I’m okay, I guess.  I threw my back out on Sunday night.  It’s much better than it was, but if you have ever done this in your life at all before, you know all about the paralyzing back spasms.  All I did was stand up, no kidding, and the pain was excruciating.  The doctor gave me some heavy ibuprofen and muscle relaxers, so I’m a happy camper at the moment.  Watching the 1983 Bad Boys with Sean Penn.  This has to be one of his best films.  You remember it, right?  Penn and Esai Morales are bad kids that get caught in the middle of their own gang wars.  Penn kills Morales’s little brother by accident so he in turn rapes Penn’s girlfriend (Ally Sheedy) with the intention of killing her, but gets caught by the police before he can finish it.  They both end up in the same prison with the inmates betting on the results of their final showdown.  It’s really a great film that also has Clancy Brown and Reni Santoni in it.

Changing the subject a little bit, I was thinking of some of the best magic acts I’ve seen, and I would have to say my favorite magician so far has to be Lance Burton.  I saw him live a few years ago.  Had front row seats.  For some reason I got a real long look from him, maybe he wanted the drink I had!  Haha!  Anyway, I thought I would drop this clip by.  My preference with magic isn’t the big stuff that David Copperfield produces, but sleight of hand.  That’s why Burton is my favorite.  I just pretend I’m leaning up behind you with my arms around you and resting my cheek on your arm.  We’re watching this together.  His movements are so seamless and incredible!  http://youtube.com/watch?v=eVcyiw-kmqU

Hello, “somebody”.  How’ve you been?  Quick question: Why don’t you stick with one screen name on each site?  You are really not hard to identify, but one good screen name per site is just fine.  I think I only use two now.  Only one at WB.   Matthew’s comment about collecting children kinda took me back.  Is he “familiar” to you?  Anyway, I just thought I would stop over for a little bit.  What I mentioned about s plover is history now, because that comment that someone posted about his identity is almost a year and a half old.  It’s all old news, even if it was true.  Changing the subject, I was watching part of Casablanca and thinking about that misquote, “Play it again, Sam.”  Another misquote is Andy Warhol’s “famous” quote.  I believe what he originally said was, “Everyone will be famous for fifteen seconds.”  Then, it was changed to minutes.  I can’t really prove it at the moment, I would have to really dig down deep to find a source, but I coulda sworn that’s what he had said before.  Back to the film…Have you ever watched a movie and wanted to step inside for just a moment?  This is one of those movies.  Maybe to sit at the table with Bogart for a moment or inspect the texture of the brick wall.  Black and white films always make me want to do that, as if doing so will make it more real.

I downloaded that recent film with “somebody” and the child in the box.  One cute thing I noticed was when “somebody” got up from the ground and started walking toward a woman.  Well, the way he walked was like he was trying to show off his behind, even though there’s not a heck of a lot back there.  Now, don’t get all mad at me because you know it’s true.  To be honest, I don’t have a lot of room to talk, but I do have enough padding to sit on.  My point was that the way you walked made me want to get a look at what was under the camouflage (clothing).  Maybe see what all your ego-walk fuss was about, because that was just adorable.  I will say this, you’ve got a nice set of gams, hon.  Those things just keep going.

Thought I’d drop this vintage video over.  Stones doing Honky Tonk Woman in Hyde Park.  If you check out the audience, you’ll see a member of the Hell’s Angels in the front.  http://youtube.com/watch?v=faEEro38pEA  hoping this comment finds you well. :)

Hello, “somebody”, sweetheart, how are you?  My back is better.  The doctor said it would take a couple of weeks.  I’m just basically taking it easy and trying to figure out my own rehabilitation so such a thing doesn’t happen again.  I was watching part of Air Force One and remembering what it was like in the 90s with the rough and tough image of the President.  That’s almost like having your cake and eating it too, isn’t it? A tough commander in chief with a clear provision for peace just isn’t that easy to come by.

In comparing that moderate site with WB, and I’ll have to be honest with you.  WB is a lot more lively and active.  Although I find food for thought at the moderate site, WB has a lot more spice and comments to it.  I really believe also that you like most of the people at WB because they’re screwy but endearing.  (You do, don’t you?)  The WB primary was enlightening but a bit comical with the bantering going on.  People can’t just list who their choices are, they have to “go at it”.  Hilarious!  Anyway, you know I just came here mainly to visit.  I also know that you are going to be very busy starting like right now, but I’m still hoping for an opportunity to at least talk to you.  I’m not exactly sure when that will happen, but here’s hoping.  In the next couple of weeks, I may have a month off and I was thinking of going somewhere, but I’m also not sure where or if I’ll actually have that much time.  If I get the time off, probably somewhere I haven’t been in a while or ever before but seems familiar.

I was also surfing youtube again.  I do that when a song pops in my head I haven’t thought of for awhile.  That happened when I posted the oldies site here.  I used to have a big crush on Neil Diamond, and although that’s not he case any more, I still plan on seeing him live.  You probably remember he was in The Last Waltz:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=RurccWvJiS8   What a great vocalist he is!  I’m not sure how big a fan you are of him, but to me he is one of the most prolific songwriters around.  He also wrote a couple of songs including this one for this famous pop “band” before his own name hit the map:  http://youtube.com/watch?v=2VUqgZ-kl-Q  Hoping this comment finds you well, sweetie.  :)

Hello, “somebody”.  I’ve mixed feelings about dropping by here.  I guess sometimes how we think things are what is real are two different things.  It’s easy to be confused, I suppose.  A part of me was thinking that somehow, even for a short while, the fantasies in my head about you would be fulfilled for real in some way.  Maybe I was wrong to assume, but I’m still thinking about this, or whether or not I should be.  I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with my coming here, because so much has evolved since last year.  And however this communication here turns out, I’ll never be finished with what I’ve set out to do.  I really believe I’m a positive influence at WB even if subtle.  Where to go from there, I don’t know yet.  When it happens, it happens.

I was more surprised than shocked at Thompson’s withdrawal from the race.  He may still be a good veep.  We’ll have to see on that.  It’s funny how you and I agree on McCain, being how different we are. I’ll have to take a good close look at that miracle and see how it came about. (kidding)  Anyway, I said this would be a short message.  Here was a video I was looking at that you have probably seen.  I like the cool neon blues with faded grays and purple.  The pasty imagery makes it easier on the eyes.  http://youtube.com/watch?v=IuKOc_Mpumc&feature=related  Hoping this comment finds you well, honey.  :)

Hello, “somebody”.  Just thought I would swing over here for a moment.  Quite an interesting week, huh?  A little “shock” here and there to make things interesting.  As I said before, sometimes my instincts are also off, especially when my biorhythm is low in that area.  Its times like this that have me step back and reflect a little bit.  This is also when I use things regarded as occult for some divination.  No big deal, just a little astrology.  I don’t know your actual date of birth, so I used a composite chart of you and me with every hour on the clock for you to see if there was a pattern.  I know you may not be too much into this stuff, but I only use it when I can’t find clarity anywhere else.  I now understand all this hesitation on my part with the tugging and pulling inside.  There were only three aspects that were consistent between me that made me feel this whole thing (My coming back to this blog, etc.) seem suddenly okay.  These are the three repeating aspects between us:

"Sun Conjunct Jupiter

Sun conjunct Jupiter is one of the most useful configurations in a composite horoscope. In fact, there will be growth, expansion, and luck in many areas of your lives together.

First, you will have a general sense of well-being, of comforting each other when you are together, even of nurturing and protecting.

Second, there is likely to be material prosperity. Even if you are not wealthy, you will feel that together you have enough.

Third, this aspect will have the effect of expanding your consciousness of yourselves and each other, and of increasing your understanding.

This aspect is a strong indication that whatever the basis of your relationship, it will be a good one, with fortunate consequences for you.

Sun Conjunct Pluto

The conjunction of composite Sun and Pluto signifies that this relationship will have very deep and long-lasting effects on you.

This aspect will work in one of two ways. The first possibility is that your relationship will have a very powerful effect on other people. Use that power carefully, because if it is misused, others join together to put you down.

The second possibility is that the relationship will have a powerful internal effect and cause you both to go through important changes and transformations.

One warning, particularly for love relationships and marriages! At times you both will feel that everything is collapsing and that the whole relationship is over. With a strong Pluto, this may simply mean the beginning of a major change; when it is complete you may enter a new phase that will be better than ever for both of you. Try to be patient when such crises occur.

Venus Conjunct Uranus

With Venus conjunct Uranus in the composite chart, you will have to keep certain points in mind in order to get the most out of your relationship.

If this is a sexual relationship, it is very likely that your feelings for each other arose suddenly. But no matter how intense the feeling, recognize that any attempt to hold onto this relationship is probably doomed to failure. If you want it to last, you must give each other lots of room to move.

A relationship like this shakes your established thought patterns and gives you both the opportunity to find something new in yourselves.

This relationship may very well change your life. Give yourselves the freedom to go where it takes you."

So I guess the message here is “Hold on loosely…”  You know the rest of the words.  I've been into Three Days Grace lately.  This is a bizarre video.  It reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode with the manequins that take a month each to go outside and experience the real world.  Freaky!  http://youtube.com/watch?v=bmWY28ITGfY

Hoping this comment finds you well, (sexy baby)  :)

u are deceitful and play too many games at the expense of others and always push things too far.  u only know people on your terms and then lie and treat them badly when they are cramping your style.  u want your privacy and secret acquaintances, but hack my computer to lie to others about how you know me, all for your own benefit.  u go ahead and see me as "worn", I belong to God, so good luck trying to convince Him that I am.  u also spread "love" when you feel like it, but refuse to ask God what that really means.  what is your purpose in lying and sneaking around.  you pretend to some people that u know me, but don't really like me at all.  I am to the point I don't care any more.  You know I have the guts to fight for what I believe in now, but you don't respect it.  u don't want to know me, you just want to keep taking information when you feel like it.  when are u going to ask God what the right thing to do is?  sneaking around and hacking at the expense of others is probably not the answer He would give you, but you still refuse to listen to Him.  How long will it take b4 you really want to hear his voice?  u can  tell I have had it with your deceit.  once you know what I know, the freedom is way too valuable, and there is no turning back.  I am done with this e-mail shit and only whenever you feel like it.   I have to move forward and learn to fight these assholes controlling our world.  think what you want of me.

one more thing I want to add.  I will report this domain for abuse to as many organizations as many times as is necessary to get u to stop invading my privacy:

vl3551.cs1.els2.myspace.com  IP address 216.178.35.73.  Knock it off!   What purpose could you possibly have in trying to access my computer twice a day?  Your deceit in evey aspect will be exposed on each level until you learn right from wrong.

And I reiterate, if you have no interest in learning to hear the voice of God right where you are, I DON'T KNOW YOU!  Now is the time to turn to only Him for answers before it is too late, and your silly covert games and secrets won't mean a damn when we all get down to the wire.  You go right ahead and pretend that there is no God and no Christ returning.  Tell your corrupt as well as non-corrupt friends that I am a raving maniac or don't know what I am talking about.  Better yet, tell the living God, whom I belong to, that I am nuts or lying.  All you need to start out with is the desire to turn from your ways, but you think you are immune because you're "you".  "Vanity is his favorite sin".  If we are meant to know each other, it won't be deceit that makes it happen.  Don't preach the Bill of Rights until you are able to live by them, and if you have broken any of God's laws, including the worst of them, ask HIS forgiveness in all honesty, and see what really happens when you do.

I am just going to send this one last message for now because I think it's important, and the comments here may be closed eventually, or I'll just delete this page myself from my bookmarks.  This is a reality in America today that is rarely reported on a mass scale.  Recently, a legislation was passed that authorizes fema camps in the U.S.  you can google the bill or find info on youtube.  this is the beginning of the end, and why I want to leave the country in the next couple of years.  if you google "camp grayling" then search maps, then click on the blue bubble on the us map, you will see a link that says concentration camps.  when you click on that link, you will see a few hundred blue bubbles pop up all over the us, with descriptions and what stage each camp is in.  I seriously believe that even now the homeless in some states may be in the camps, or being "processed", as there was a recent story about the missing homeless in San francisco.  Here is a home-made documentary about how thousands of homeless live in Florida, and what their situation is.  Ordinary people, about a few still with jobs, camping out because they lost their homes.  Their fate could very well be in the hands of homeland security.  Seriously, hon, I don't mean to be so harsh on you, but how would you feel if someone was tracking you like a spy on your computer?  Is privacy selective?  I think you will get a pleasant surprise if you will only turn to God for answers.  I did.  Here is the video I told you about:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPlxyJc7pFc
