Jeepers
The complaints are deserved. Had this been a real job I would have been fired three days ago, left with nothing but the shirt on my back and the dream of someday becoming a roadie with Bingo. Actually, the thought of inebriated fur is appealing right now.

I made a deal with my other personality to finish my story, which I will do.

I hope you all have your Pirates of Pensacola books handy as well as our book club will begin soon. For those of you who don't, GET IT!

lemme guess.... you've been too busy watching March Madness, cheering on the Dukies! oh wait, that would be me. ;) btw, if I still haven't convinced you of my Duke love, I have a few non-locked LJ posts that I can direct you to, and can send you some pictures of me from inside Cameron Indoor, which clearly show just how excited I was to be there and how much I love Duke. dude, I love Duke more than Affleck loves the Dead Sox. but I digress...

actually your hiatus has given me time to start to catch up on the story. I'm still woefully behind, but as soon as Duke wins the NCAA tournament, I'll be able to devote myself full time to getting back in the Rancerific groove....after all, I don't watch April baseball, so I'll have time to spare, and then some.

whoa there, chickie... if this was a job you would have been entitled to a week's vacation by now, so the complaints weren't deserved. all those with the supposed fond memories of rance seem to have forgotten him leaving us hanging with no posts or with admin filling in. it's so much easier to rewrite history then to face facts. you've done an excellent job with this site and have nothing, i say nothing!, to apologize for.

btw, which other personality did you make the deal with?

welcome back, we've missed you. i owe you a big bunch of kisshugs! they'll be in your easter basket. i'll send them telepathically.

Finished my copy of PoP, ready to start discussing before I forget what happened.

Which, with my mind lately, means before I sleep again.

Looking forward to the rest of your story, RD. When you post the conclusion I'll read the rest again so that I can follow.

Some of the benefits of losing your mind:
Every book is a new book
You never have to watch a movie twice. (That you know of.)
You can forget the people you dislike, but true friends keep in touch.
No need to go shopping. You can find fascinating new things just wandering around your own house!
You can revel in how brilliant you are when you discover a new idea, untroubled with knowing that it's been known to the world in general for centuries.
When you really lose your mind, it doesn't bother you so much, because you aren't that aware of it. Apparently, though, it can drive your friends and family nuts.

Cool. I like nuts. Especially macademias.
